Old Hickory Golf Course

Really not as good as in past years. Patches of hard dirt abound! I use to travel from Indianapolis regularly to golf here. Was disappointed this last time.

Love this place! We have held an annual family golf outing there for 4 straight years and have a great time every year! Owners are fantastic people and are a delight to deal with. Course is perfect for a bunch of folks with our limited golfing skills. Hope to be going back very soon!

I hadn't played here in a couple of years, until today. Not much has changed except they have at least acquired a greens mower. The fairways are still horrible thick grass and the roughs are head high horse weeds. I lost several balls just because there basically is no playable rough. The tee boxes are unlevel and a lot of dirt. The tree limbs have grown out over the fairways in many places and need to be trimmed back considerably. Some greens we're in pretty good shape but several had bare spots or horrible resod jobs that actually made them worse than no grass at all. I definitely won't be g…

Courses in the usual shape but the greens are looking pretty good running pretty fast compared to normal for here. It's not the most well-maintained golf course but it has a really nice layout the staff is friendly and it's beautiful out here

Just don’t play here. The greens are absolutely horrible. The place is not very well taken care of. I never had a problem with the staff until today. I called and asked if they had fixed their greens and was scolded and then hung up on. This course is not good enough to hang up on people.

It was ok, it was so hot out during. Bugs were everywhere and it looks like they have abandoned some of the greens. Need to fix some issues before letting people golf throughout the course.

Awful, awful service. Unless you want yelled at and CALLED STUPID, don't come here!! I visited this place for the first time and had a great time... But at the end I was confronted in my car by an older woman (who was apparently the owner) and rudely yelled at me for "driving through mud" and I had no idea what she was talking about and told her I never seen any mud. And appologized explaining this was my first time here and I didn't mean to do anything wrong and She ignored my apology. My husband went back to see where this "mud" was and she followed him back yelling at him and CALLED HIM STU…

Only thing good i can comment on this course is the staff was very friendly. Fairways are nothing but crabgrass, green surfaces are practically non puttable.

Poorly manicured greens and all around rough course. Good luck figuring out where to tee off from, markers are non-existent. Staff is friendly which is the only thing going on here

The course had a great layout and great potential but isn't being kept up near as much as it deserves. Employees were friendly.

Greens were in such bad shape bare spots Sandy spots where there's no grass at all fairways were more crabgrass then actual grass no markers to tell you what tee box you wear on just all-around disappointed

Love the golf course if it has truly closed it’s a sad day.
