I attended the "Setting the table" dinner series Opera night with a friend from out of town and we were impressed to say the least! The opera singer's performance was fantastic, and his warm and personal approach to the guests made the night so special. The staff was top-notch - always attentive and never letting our glasses run dry. The food prepared by Chef Robert was delicious, and the portion sizes were so generous that we even got to take some leftovers home. Overall it was an unforgettable evening that exceeded our expectations! Can't wait for the next event!

We always came out in a large group throughout the year. They always took care us. Great customer service. The course is always in good condition. All the holes are very interesting and they don’t get boring at all.

The course is very well maintained. It is a challenge course. However, it is always busy.

Have only been here once, but the room seemed nice and the building looked maintained over all. Parking lot is close, bar area was nice, and the bartending ladies were really nice and smiling and quick to work to keep the line moving.

Beautiful golf course. Not only for golfing but walking.

Love the course and the staff is great. Theyve done a great job with the clubhouse as well. The glaring issue is pace of play. No rangers enforcing pace and foursomes rarely let a single or twosome play through when no one is in front of them. Golf etiquette is non-existent here. This isn't a one-off. I've played here several times this year.

I live in Orchard Valley, so I am thrilled to see the restaurant as an option for dinner and entertainment. I went for the Comedy on the Course show and it was a great evening out with my spouse. The food has been good each time we have gone since the management change. We're hoping the restaurant continues with standard good food options and doesn't try to be too fancy and lose the "general public" crowds that used to frequent the restaurant back in the day. We heard there might be an expansion of the building and that would also be good! Keep it up!

Wife had the salad with the blackened salmon. She said it was one of the best she ever ate. . I had the pulled pork sandwich. It was very good. The service was excellent. The outside seating was very nice

Editing to add: I emailed a week ago as requested to give the opportunity to make it right, but never received a response. Easter brunch was really questionable - probably the worst we’ve ever had… items were bare and not being restocked, the tables of food were dirty as well as the serving utensils. Server was not really paying attention to who needed drinks. The dessert table was scarce. I don’t have an issue with the price, but you’d expect a higher quality for $50/person.

Really liked this course. The fairways and greens were healthy and beautiful. The restaurant was good. It had luxurious carts. It was serious Country Club vibes operated by the Park District. Would 100% return.

I am leaving this review in hopes that it may better your business moving forward. If I could leave two reviews, one for the course, and another for the staff in charge of facilitating tee time management, I certainly would. For someone who is looking for a beautiful course with varied elevation, hazards, and challenge I would highly recommend it to any golfer. For someone who is looking to enjoy their round with the company of others, I would suggest looking elsewhere. Our group of 4 decided to book a tee time at the course recently. Some of the members of our group were traveling from ou…
