Fox Bend Golf Course is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, challenging layout, and comprehensive practice facilities. Many visitors appreciate the friendly staff and enjoyable amenities, including a well-stocked pro shop and a pleasant on-site restaurant. However, some guests have experienced issues with slow pace of play and occasional customer service challenges, particularly in the pro shop.

Excited to play a nice course with a good reputation. The last two holes we waited over 45 minutes for a 9 some. After talking the “player assistance” worker he said “its only me and this girl there isn't much we can do.” Not the best answer.

This is a lovely Golf Course in a suburb of chicago, illinois. Oswego is a nice town with lots of shopping and restaurants. The course itself was very well kept, and had some beautiful views including small ponds. The restaurant was delightful! There was a deck with live, outdoor music on a Saturday night, and the food was delicious. Our server was out of this world. She was so kind and had the most wonderful smile. It was over 90°, and never once did she seem frustrated or overwhelmed. The Pro Shop was very well equipped and had a nice selection of clothing as well. The snack shop offered man…

Even though it is middle of december, the course is super well maintained. Not crowded so that it is so good to play without rush. Very engaging course design will make your winter golf day.

I'm a 20 handicapper. Course is very challenging. Nice layout, plenty of hazards to avoid. Greens roll firm and fast. Coolers still filled w ice water at 4pm.

Played on Saturday the 13th. The course was in great shape. Tees, fairway & greens.. Id say the greens were a 10 on the stimp, rolled great and held well. 60 ish w a cart for twilght. No complaints. Teed off at 3 and finished at 7:15. Got a little backed up the last few holes but all good. Got a burger at the turn and they brought it out to us. Good stuff !!!! Hospitality is a key asset

I have a foursome of guys that golf together, we finally convinced the wives to come with us, so we booked two adjacent tee times, knowing that we would be separate and fully understand that. But from the second we got there I should have known to turn around and go somewhere else. It was a 9am tee time on a Friday, so not particularly busy but the gentleman in the pro shop was just rude and rushed through everything. I would assume that a golf course open on a day where is was ~50 degrees would have coffee, he made my wife feel like an idiot for making that assumption. The course itself was…

$35 to walk 9 holes on a weekday is a little steep especially considering the conditions. Springbrook charges $26 and is in better shape.

Good golf course to play overall. The practice range and putting green are large and well-maintained. The course is perfectly green and stretches out giving it a great look! The pro shop also has great items to buy as well as a food grill. This is one of the best maintained courses I have seen!

The course looks very beautiful from the outside. The only issue is once you land on the green it’s a rough roll! Meaning, the greens are very rough and not manicured at all, the enjoyment and excitement of going to play a golf course away from the city is worth the ride, but in this case, the price didn’t dictate for course conditions. Staff, although they were young were very courteous for a senior citizen enjoying to walk be prepared.

Course is in decent shape but on an 85 degree monday. No water no cart girl nothing except after 9 and 18 is terrible. Be better foxbend the course is coming back nicely so make sure the people who play are at risk of heat stroke please.

Decent course with a few greens being in pretty bad condition. Pro shop staff a little abrasive at the turn, enough to question if our business was appreciated. Foursome behind us was two holes back all day and some how they acted like we were holding someone up. Not friendly at all, attitude unwarranted, not what I need on a Sunday afternoon. Course played 4.5 hours for 18. Plenty of courses in the area.
