Whitetail Ridge has a really interesting course layout and is a joy to play. Each hole has a challenging layout, with a variety of water, sand, grass and tree hazards to ruin your day. The pastoral setting makes this course attractive, and while it's located in a neighborhood, homes are not on top of the course as in other places. The crew at Whitetail Ridge was incredible. On Saturday it was 92 and humid and then out of nowhere a storm blew through and they all sprinted out there to try to save the decor and everything. I had Amanda Hopkins as my coordinator she was so amazing. She was keeping me calm and helping me with every little thing like showing me the weather, fixing my shoes, handing me my lip gloss, etc. Not everything went smoothly but they did the best they could and honestly I’m so thankful for them! A dream wedding venue!! The area is beautiful! We had my shower and wedding there! All the staff is so friendly and helpful. I worked specifically with Abby, and she was so easygoing and helpful when making decisions. The staff works so hard to make your day as smooth as possible. The venue is affordable, the food was great, and the place itself is gorgeous! Also the bartenders were so fun!! Our guests still talk about how cool they were! Absolutely stunning course! Truly a gem of a golf course in the southwest suburbs. I could not say enough about how amazing and accommodating the entire Staff at Whitetail was for my son’s proposal. Pictures don’t do justice. We could not have made it all possible without the help of Abby and Ashley. We are truly grateful for everything. Stellar service from beginning to end. Highly recommend 10/10!

I haven't been at too many venues that are further out in the suburbs as a wedding photographer. This place in Yorkville, is lovely. The staff is nice and helpful. I like the fact that they will drive you out to that ideal photo locations around the golf course. I do love the way the outdoor ceremony turned out. Worth looking into for sure.

Had a baby shower here. The venue was beautiful. Our party coordinator was very nice and helpful. Brunch food was plentiful and very good. We received a lot of compliments. I would happily recommend Whitetail Ridge.

The golf course itself is a wonderful track and in great condition. This might have been a one off but the rounds on 10/13 were over 5 1/2 hours. There was no ranger oversight. The only course personnel on the golf was the beverage cart. Repeated requests to speed play up was met with no assurances. There not any management and the golf course lost control of the pace of play situation. The pace impacted the enjoyment of the round. Disappointing given the $100 cost.

Great course. It’s a little pricy for the middle of nowhere but it’s worth it. The holes were interesting and very different. They had a couple that looked like they were designed to steal my balls but maybe I’m just bad at golf. Beautiful houses surrounding the holes but way too far for a subpar golfer like me to hit. The clubhouse is pretty good too and they had a cart girl on Thursday unfortunately she left on the back nine at about 3 or so.
