Disappointing Golfing Experience As an avid golfer, I had high hopes for Wedgewood Golf Course, but unfortunately, it fell short in several key areas. Firstly, the course maintenance left much to be desired. The fairways were patchy and uneven, making it difficult to get a clean shot off the tee. Additionally, the greens were inconsistent, with some being painfully slow while others were lightning fast, making putting a guessing game rather than a skillful endeavor. The layout of the course was also lackluster. It felt cramped and poorly designed, with several holes overlapping and causing d…

Paid 72 bucks on a Saturday morning( which is fine). But what wasn’t fine was that the fairways were damn near dirt and no grass at all. Greens were decent and the bunkers were maintained but these fairways were so bad.

I thought it was a nice public course. Easy to play, not alot of hazards but enough to keep it interesting. Greens were maintained. Fairways and tee boxes were firm and soil was packed, but understandable with lack of rain. I was pleasantly surprised the beverage cart was circling.

No complaints about the course although very disappointed in managers ethics. My father (senior citizen battling prostate cancer) was refused access to the bathroom and ended up wetting himself on his car ride home. All this because he returned his golf cart 15 minutes late. Very disappointed that managers get off with this sort of power struggle. Once again good golf course just very disappointed with the professionalism.

Course is in bad shape with fairways brown and very patchy on a lot of holes. Greens were ok. Bunkers are the sand with little pebbles in them. For the money I wouldn’t go back.

The greens and fringe were in amazing shape today. 14 in particular looked absolutely phenomenal with the perfectly mowed fringe. Just was really impressed with this course.

The course was in nice shape. Just shot the front nine. A few blind shots from the tees. Photo is an easy nine iron from 70 yards tap in for a par.

The staff here makes for a miserable experience and time. Marshals throw verbal insults, be rate players and even stalked us around the course. The course is over priced and you are not given the freedom to play. Money and time is better spent any where else.

Giving it a 2 because the staff that works the range, shop, and bar are really nice otherwise it would be a 1. Problem is the player assistant. Been here 3 times and all 3 times the old man has given my friends and I a hard time. This past time he accused us of replaying a hole because the tee times behind us finished before us. Even though we let the single player play through, and the other 2 man group skipped hole 2 while we were on it, and went straight to hole 3. We were actually on pace and finished 9 holes in 2 hours and would have finished sooner but no one was behind us so we took…

It is a wide open course that's challenging and fun to play. I hadn't played here in years, and although the fairways are generous, the ruff is punishing!! The greens are true and very nice. Everything was well maintained and felt like the ground crews care. A terrific layout that won't let you down.

We arrived for our tee time to see there were already 2 groups waiting for tee 1. After 2 hours to get through 6 holes for a 70$ round, we called the pro shop to let them know. There was a group of 2 foursomes that had joined in front of us and another solo foursome all waiting to tee off on 7. We called and explained that 4 groups were waiting and were told that they couldnt believe that would be the case, and they definitely wouldn’t rain check the back 9 for a faster day and promptly hung up on us. They then sent a ranger out that never got out of his cart or talked to anyone as he witnesse…

Overpriced for the service you get. Was Rudely told by a grumpy old man that my group had to speed up and we were 15 minutes behind pace of play, when we were actually exactly at the stated pace. My group (4 some) finished the first 9 in under 2 hours so I don’t know what he was complaining about. Also too expensive for the condition of the field. There’s a lot of better option around the area.
