In summary

Origins Golf Club is frequently praised for its beautiful and well-maintained 10-hole par-3 course, which offers a scenic and enjoyable experience for both beginners and seasoned players. Visitors appreciate the friendly and accommodating staff, as well as the thoughtful amenities like practice areas and well-kept greens. However, some guests have noted issues with the booking process and occasional lapses in customer service, as well as a lack of food options on-site.

Visiting from Huntsville, Alabama and booked a round through GolfNow. The staff was friendly and the course is very well maintained (especially coming from someone who regular plays on cow pasture greens). I used my 54 degree wedge, Approach wedge, and Pitching wedge for the majority of the tee shots from the whites. I think it was well worth the money for a 10 hole round on vacation!

We just learned about this Par 3 10-hole short course and are so glad we checked it out! We arrived to a lovely clubhouse area with friendly staff. They have some canned drinks for sale and some merchandise in the pro shop. They offered to provide ice for the coolers, and we were off to the practice area, which included a putting green, chipping area, and a hitting bay with net. The course was beautiful and a lot of fun to play. Wish we would have brought the kids to play! For the most part, it's fairly open, though the blue tees have noticeably more challenging layouts than the white. I teed…

Grateful for this golf course have been coming here for two years. It’s so beautiful easy to play quick nine or extended out into something else. It’s just been great for me and my family. As well as extended family and guests. I sort of missed the foot Golf but understand that that was not feasible or quite the attraction people hoped for. We did play a few times and enjoyed that a lot too.

Watersound Origins Golf Club is a hidden gem with a scenic and well-maintained 10-hole par-3 course. Nestled among tall pines and tranquil water features, it offers a relaxing yet enjoyable golf experience. The course is beginner-friendly while still engaging for seasoned players. Well-designed cart paths and a peaceful atmosphere make it a great spot for a casual round. Perfect for a quick game in a beautiful setting with the furry co-pilot ☺️

A great little public par 3 course that’s quiet, wide open areas, and little challenges along the way. Clubhouse staff Dennis and Kristy are absolutely wonderful, friendly, and very accommodating. Highly recommended course if you’re in the area.

I would not play this course. First of all the locals make it clear they dont want you there . The staff is similar. When we got there there credit card machine was not working and they wanted us to write down our card info down on paper for them . (Which is plain dumb) This is a 6 hole corse turned into a 10 hole par 3 course that should be a looper course . Nobody know how to play it everybody was confused including the staff I asked All in all I will not be back should figure out the own business the put it on the internet correctly Not happy at all.

We live here and play here. Origins is a scenic walkable course. I am always amazed how beautifully maintained the course is. We frequently play and the pro shop employees are always helpful and professional. I have taken lessons from the pro Hondo and he is professional, pragmatic and spot on! His passion for the game and his encouragement of beginners is appreciated. He has helped build a strong ladies golf group!

I played with my wife as the par 3 Davis Love design. Course was in immaculate condition; much nicer than most full sized country clubs. Hole #4 has a bunker in the green, which was fun. Will be going back for sure.

The only negative I have ... its only 10 holes! I absolutely love this course. The greens, tee boxes etc were immaculate! Green were like walking on carpet, challenging yet fun. The starter is a hoot, very fun guy. If you are in PCB or the FWB area and playing golf, this course must be a top choice. Just amazing place.

I've never had a course not honor a golf now tee time. Staff was rude when I got there and basically told me I'd be teeing off at a later time than what I booked online. A member family went ahead of me and what I witnessed was insanity. Two of the kids were running around the course barefoot, rolling around on the greens, screaming and throwing clubs when they missed their putts. A huge waste of money

This is a well-maintained (but over-priced) 10 hole par-three course. I'm a beginner and played on the front tees, and was with my dad who is a regular golfer. Despite the huge variance in our skill level, we both had a great time and this course accommodated what we were looking for. With an ice machine, water fountain, and bathrooms in the middle of the course, their facilities are also a nice touch to the experience.

The course is amazing and greens were in great shape. But don't rent their clubs! Mismatched, incomplete sets in terrible shape, and no golf balls, glove, or towel.
