Oshawa Golf & Curling Club

I have attended several events, from intimate dinners to group events and banquet's here and each time the service and food were top-notch. Coming from a background in the hospitality industry, I can say with confidence that this is an excellent venue to showcase your next event in a lovely setting. Holly has always done an outstanding job of assisting with all the arrangements and making everything run seamless!

An outstanding Stanley Thompson course. After playing this course last week, I looked up the scoregolf ranking and it was rated 101 in canada in 2018. I'm not surprised. A beautiful layout with elevation changes. Lots of nicely sculpted sand traps. Out of 18 holes, I thought that 14 of 18 holes were amazing. My favourite was the 13th hole, a par 4 elevated tee deck and then the second shot is uphill to an elevated green. I thought holes 10 through 13 were outstanding. My only critique is that the course ended with a par 3. Have the nines been reversed? Stanley would have not finished a course…

I had a very enjoyable Lab OZ putter fitting with Steve Martel today . His knowledge and expertise were needed on the fast greens of the beautiful Oshawa Golf and Curling Club.

Had a meal there recently. The food was expensive and terrible.

Best Golf Course in Durham!! Outside 18 spectacular (all 18 Holes are unique ) The Patio overlooks the 18th hole. Food is amazing ... they made a new short game are behind the driving range.

Great food and service, not rushed.

I have been a member here for coming up on a year and I love it they have amazing diners for any family event… saves loads of cooking. But you lose no quality as the chefs here are amazing they are very into the food they serve. The support staff is amazing they help you with anything you need!

Was treated to Mother’s Day brunch. Beautiful atmosphere, very clean. Everyone was very friendly and dressed in lovely attire. Bathrooms are quite nice and super clean, the dining area was beautifully decorated and very welcoming. Views of the ravine and greens were impeccably beautiful and well maintained. The patio is large with beautiful views all around. There was a buffet with a wide variety of breakfast and lunch items as well as drinks, The food was very good. There was also a photographer there to take pictures of the families. It was a beautiful morning and a wonderful treat. Overall…

Played the Sherry Bassin Bad to the Bone charity tournament. Very well organized and run event. Sherry is a great host. Met some awesome NHL and future NHL'ers. And the iconic Joe Bowen. Wonderful down to earth guy and just hilarious. A shame it's a private course. Very well maintained and a lot of fun to play.
