Ottumwa Country Club

On the night that I visited, the staff was clearly overwhelmed. As a result, the service was poor. My entree was perfectly fine, but the beer selection was limited and included nothing I wanted to order. The physical setting was interesting. This country club restaurant should probably be on the national register of historic places. It exudes a kind of old school charm that extends to the classic bathroom fixtures.

Met a prospective employer here. It was my first visit, and we had burgers which were delicious. The staff was great, and I got the job so I'm going to have to give you five stars

Play a lot of small town golf courses around the country & found this gem by chance. Beautiful setting, challenging yet fair. Was.most impressed by the shape the course was in for October. They must have a superb ground crew. Typically these small town courses have dedicated staff but are under resourced. This course looked very professionally cared fo. Kudos to the staff. Will be back.

Everything seems to be getting better. Probably the best thing, though, is the responsive, caring new manager. Tom Morgan works hard and asks the same of staff. Look forward to coming back to Ottumwa and this club.

Quick, helpful, friendly service; loved the grilled pecan chicken breast and blackened salmon with asparagus, and loaded baked potato!

Nice secluded, able to hold good-sized events. Good service. Dated but absolutely welcoming.

Decent little golf club.. It was my first time here.. Looks like they were in the process of renovation.. They have a nice little outdoor swimming pool and plenty of green grass 😉

Anne Meier was amazing as my waitress. Great food. Great experience. Ask for Anne as your server.

You would think after almost going under and not having a soul on the course playing golf they would let someone play that lives three counties away...private golf is over in rural US grow with the times and you might survive...I won’t be be back even with family three blocks away

Terrible service, bartender very rude. Not recommend took an hour and a half to be served dinner.

Such a great family atmosphere, fun events, and good food!
