In summary

Pezhekee National Golf Course is frequently praised for its beautiful, challenging layout and well-maintained greens, offering picturesque views and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff is noted for their friendliness, contributing to a positive overall experience. However, some visitors mention limited food and beverage options, including the absence of alcohol sales, and point out that certain course areas, such as tee boxes and sand traps, could benefit from improved maintenance.

Gorgeous course, very well maintained. Affordable rates, pace of play was perfect (course was busy too). We had a great time! The gentleman (we are so sorry we forgot his name) in the Pro shop talked with us a while before and after the round. A great golf experience all the way around. Thank you so much! We will be back!

Very nice, quiet 18-hole course. Limited options for food and drinks but basics are covered. No alcohol available for sale there. $50 for 9 holes with cart on a weekday, which is a little high but the layout was nice and I'd play there again

For a beginner, this is a difficult course but very pretty. I'd recommend you to bring beverages because the course doesn't sell.

A lot of history with this one. It's a resort course with pictures of Sam Sneed in front of the tennis courts that decorate the pro shop. The facilities are located behind the main lodge and in the back near the putting green and tennis courts. The staff are friendly and so are the resorters. The greens are well maintained as well as the fairways. The tee boxes are decent but could benefit from some TLC. The carts are gas and modern with USB charging and lots of storage for gear. This course offers lots of challenges from blind shots, greens that are narrow or have spill-off, up and down el…

Went here for a work trip fun day tournament and had a blast! The course was fun and the people who worked for the course were all super friendly and helpful! Even with 30+ of us out there it felt like every team was the only one out there. Hopefully going back again some day!

This golf course is hidden down a driveway. Not a lot of parking, but also not a lot of people on the course. We had the entire place to ourselves on a Sunday in July. It was weird. Great course with a TOUGH layout. If you are on the fence between walking and riding a cart, take the cart. It’s a tough walk. The 9th hole does not come back to the clubhouse, so plan accordingly. Lots of unique holes. Each hole, it seemed, was different. A different challenge. Some uphill, some down, a couple doglegs, and one hole that is just weird and is nearly impossible to hit the green. Bring plenty of b…

Beautiful course! Great layout, views, wildlife and challenging. Looking forward to playing it again. Cons: No drinking water available on the course, no beverage cart and little to no beverage and food options. No alcohol so pack your coolers ;)

As we were checked in an older fella ripped into everyone in the proshop about getting kicked off the course if we drive through water. Extremely unwelcoming and made it uncomfortable for all the customers and other employees. Fine to ask us to take care due to conditions, but this was next level bad customer service. We are all about 40 y.o. and avid golfers. No reason for that. Course itself had some cool unique holes but was not in great shape. $80 for 18 is too much for a course in this type of shape. I'd go somewhere else if possible. Poor conditions, but even worse customer service. Not…

I would give this course a 2.5, but you can’t so I’m fine with 3. I am a 16 handicap and play a lot of courses. Here are the positives about the course: 1. The views of the lake are great 2. A lot of the holes are very pretty to look at from the tee, even the holes without lake views. 3. The staff is very friendly 4. We pretty much had the course to ourselves, there were a few other groups but we never caught each other. 5. Most of the greens were in good condition Here are the negatives: 1. The tee boxes are in very poor condition. Some of the women’s tees are sloped so your feet are below th…

Interesting track with wide landing zones and enough trouble to keep your focus. Plenty of elevation changes to make it pleasing to look at, too. My only gripes, and they are very minor ones, are the very limited parking and the golf carts that have aged a bit.
