In summary

Pheasant Ridge Golf Club is frequently praised for its friendly staff, well-maintained greens, and scenic views of Lake Winnisquam. The course layout offers a mix of challenging and forgiving holes, making it suitable for a variety of skill levels. However, some visitors have noted that certain areas, particularly the back nine, could benefit from improved maintenance, and a few have mentioned the course can be pricey for the experience provided.

Meh. Greens were great and rolled a bit slow, but well maintained. fairways were ok. teeboxes need some work. the range looks like a scene from tremors.

Course is in good shape. Super friendly staff. In addition, the view of the lakes from the course is spectacular. Definately worth playing if your a local or a visitor like myself.

Beautiful scenery but ban energy all around. No water on the path. Expensive for 9 holes, was 58 a person with rentals! Teenage workers were the only pleasant staff.

Would give it a higher rating if the back 9 was more thought out. Everyone was very friendly and pace was alright, but after the turn felt like a completely different course. Variety and challenge on the front 9 with decent conditions, but practically all straight holes on the back 9 with pretty shotty conditions aside from the greens which were good all around. Definitely go on a Monday if you can for “Monday madness” where it’s 18 holes for the usual 9 hole rate, otherwise I’d recommend just playing the front 9 for the price point.

Great public golf 18 hole golf course. I really like the snack bar that has a variety of food, alcohol beverages and really attentive and friendly bartenders. Golf carts are available as well as leagues. There is also a banquet room that has its own catering available.

We expected better, course was dried out, no beverage cart, no water coolers on the course and a 5 hour round. Nothing has changed with the course, bar renovated nicely but that’s all I have to say about positives. $79 is way over priced for The Ridge even with the escalated prices of today, liked Pheasant much better.

Expensive for the experience provided. The fairways were mostly dirt. The bunkers were full of gravel and not sand. The starter was very pushy and started me 15 minutes before I was supposed to tee off and made me leave the person I was waiting for even though they weren’t late. At least the greens were fast

Nice average course. Paid $59 with a cart on a week day. Front 9 are newer and in good shape. Greens were in very good condition with the fairways in good condition. Tee boxes were also in decent shape despite dry conditions. Bunkers were in pay shape. Holes 10, 11, and 12 don't have irrigation and the fairways were hardpan. The rest of the course was in good condition with great views. I will definitely be back.

New owner has done a nice job upgrading the clubhouse. The course is unchanged. They added white pvc pipes as 150 markers, looks cheap for a classy course! Still lots of geese, so riding is better than walking. Challenging greens:) Cart paths could use some help, very bumpy in places.
