Lochmere Golf and Country Club

I'm going to review just the golf experience here because the people who work there are hit or miss, some good and some bad. The golf is exceptional though. The layout and condition of the course for what you paybhere is second to none in the area. Driver is safe to hit on most holes but also not nessisary on any of them. It's fun, well kept and an interesting unique layout. They have also managed to keep the entire course beautiful despite the massive drought this season.

Amazing course. You better know how to putt the greens are tough. The course is in fantastic shape. The staff at Lochmere are top notch. From the club house to the guys cutting rough. Simply Amazing people. It was worth the 2.5 hour drive.

Course was amazing bartenders/servers couldn’t have been better! The guy in the pro shop was EXTREMELY rude! We played the first 9 holes 30 minutes faster than the pace he informed us about. We stopped for a drink at the turn and he started yelling at us to keep the pace moving when the course was completely empty! Not to mention it was only noon when we stopped! Again course was awesome but pro shop was terrible.

The course is great and always in good condition. The cart lady and ranger (John is 89, funny dude and keeps things going ) are great. The pro shop and cart guys(which was the pro shop guys) should be fired for just being rude to patrons. Never seen such BS pushing for carts to be immediately back when done and giving us crap for not moving on the turn (which we grabbed food and moved along ). Read the rest of the reviews which also calls out bad experiences. Just not me complaining. Would get 5 stars minus BS and would have spent more money getting food but left.

Wow! What a great course! Don't let the club house fool you, this is a great course to play! Tee boxes and fairways were in excellent shape. Greens are quick and run true but have lots of ridges, mounds, bumps, etc. Thankfully I played with a member who was able to tell me areas to avoid. Pace was nice and quick with rangers keeping a friendly eye on everyone. Just a couple drawbacks. There were two short par fours that were an iron off the tee and then a wedge. Not my favorite type of holes. There definitely needs more signage between a few holes. I would have been lost with out my partner.

Great golf course. The greens and fairways are beautiful. Also wonderful brand new clubhouse. The pro shop dismissed me when I arrived and told me I was in the wrong place. Cathy the bartender on Thursday mornings is the most miserable person I’ve ever met. She’s very unwelcoming. All three times I was in the clubhouse she behaved like she couldn’t be bothered to help us and we were inconveniencing her (there was no one else in the bar at all). Such an amazing course. The front nine warms you up to the insane back nine - good luck putting the back nine! It was so difficult! But worth it. Get out here and play. Aug 2021

Great layout amazing view well maintained course great tavern for a bite and amazing selection of beer on draft

I have been to this course many times. It is in great shape and is well maintained. We showed up with 5 people hoping we could play together as it was a slow rainy Sunday afternoon without any groups in front of or behind us. The ranger made us split up into 2 groups. With much respect, we honored his request and went on our way. The ranger proceeded to follow us around to nearly every hole, likely to ensure we would not regroup (which we never did nor intended to as we are a respectful crew). Decent course for the price. It's no Owl's Nest. The ranger was very unwelcoming . Got told to pick up the pace after 5 holes and about an hour of time. We caught up to the group in front two holes later. When we got up to #13 there was a group of 8 playing the hole. After we finished #13 we were told to keep up with our pace. Laughable and we won't be back.

One of the best Golf Courses in New Hampshire. Highly recommend!

This course is absolutely gorgeous!! Best I've ever played. Everything and everyone was top notch.
