Canterbury Woods is an archetypical example of a New Hampshire golf course in the foot hills of New Hampshire. It was in very good condition without too many level lies as the fairways sloped in both directions so you could actually bank your shots off the sides of the fairways so they would roll into the flatter fairways. The greens were moderate speed and true. The grounds crew did a great job of blowing and removing leaves that have fallen. The pub food was very good and moderately priced and I would definitely play there again.

Really enjoyed my first round here. The staff was great, greens were fast and true, and the course is well kept. Look forward to playing here again now that I've seen it once, target golf so definitely need to know where to hit here

Nice course. Gotta be able to hit straight tho... Good bunker positions and nice, plush greens. Not many water obstacles. Wooded, very picturesque. Cool, high tees for very low greens. Challenging.

In terms of course condition, this is one of the best public courses in New England. The greens are spectacular and the layout is slightly challenging but very fun.

As a new golfer I found this course challenging and fair with a gorgeous layout. Was in perfect condition despite a prolonged drought in New Hampshire. I look forward to coming back many more times. They use the terrain beautifully to set up fun holes that will keep you on your toes.

A few things I have to say. I was trying to play 18 hole and a sudden storm started out of no where. We played one full hole, the FIRST hole out of 18. $90 each, ONE hole. No refund but a card to come back, I am not from NH so even though it was a generous offer, it was not ideal at all. Serious bummer. Next, the golf cart we did have for that first hole had no gas, seriously running on fumes. I guess thank god we didn’t have it through the whole course. It could not get up the hill at all. The highlight is that it was a beautiful 1st hole, unfortunately could not experience the rest of the 17…

This is the best golf course in the area. Course is always in great shape and offers tee boxes for every skill level.

Firstly, we love playing this course. Amazing layout, long open holes, short fun par 3, great conditions, nice views, it’s a very consistent track. Second story deck and kitchen/bar are great after round destination with great food/drink. However we haven’t been able to get onto the course in two years. I was gifted two free 18 rounds with a cart for 2024 season and despite trying six times last year to use them we couldn’t book a tee time. Every time there was “ all day league tournament” or no tee times before 11:30 am. We were calling trying to book days in advance not for the following day…

Do yourself a favour… Don’t walk this course! Get a cart! Golf course has some great scenery and can be a little challenging at times. Will play again. Will not be walking!

Good looking course but over priced. $100 for 18 is robbery and then add in $30 for a cart… come on. Thats not inflation, high prices like that is just poor treatment of people. Today it was $360 for 3 guys. We bought drinks and food which brought our day to over $500 for 3. I’m sorry but green fees on a weekend need to be $80 or I won’t go back. Not worth it.

For $115 I would expect to see a lot less GUR on the course. Lost 2 balls in the "fairway". Lots of mud, too. Greens were good, tee boxes, also. Only saw the beverage cart once and that was on hole 15

My favorite course to play in NH. Staff have always been friendly and helpful. Views are great and the ground crew does a really good job maintaining the course.
