Staff is Rude. The office staff is rude and condescending. The Rangers/Ambassadors are aggressive and confrontational. I have played this course a few times. The grounds are well kept. The course is nice. The layout is fun. However, I have noticed that every time I play here, I question my interactions with the staff. They seem like it’s some good-old-boys club where the office staff speaks down to you. The group paying in front of me at the club house was met with sarcasm for some basic questions. I was treated the same way when asking about carts. I have worked at a golf course and I know…

Great executive (par 61), easily walkable, shady, well-maintained course. A lot of beginners play here and tee times are aplenty, for a Monmouth course. Lots of par 3s, with some fun par 4s on the back 9.

Great county course for the price, Matinee is literally $20 for 9 holes! Can’t beat the value for a chance to work on your short game with this small course or to teach others to play without the game becoming intimidating! It’s Never too busy, always a great game improver, give it a try!

Great little executive course, great for beginners if a little tight with trees lining the fairways. The greens were well maintained and the tee boxes are good enough. Intuitive layout and varying distances on the par 3s.

This place is horrible. Grounds aren’t kept up well. There were literally leaves, branches and barely any grass along most of the fairways. But that’s far from the worst part. The pace of play here and attitude from management is disgraceful. On the very first hole which is right behind the clubhouse I was getting ready to tee off and took one practice swing and the guy working there said “come on today, hurry up.” WHAT?! And that basically sums up my experience there. The entire time groups were literally RIGHT behind us and I literally had to run to my ball in order to keep up the pace of pl…

Nice course, easy to walk, and great for beginners or when you are just trying to practice your short game. Unfortunately, players have very little golf etiquette there. Twice, during my 18 holes, my ball was picked up by two different groups. We tried to get the attention of the first group but they ignored us and drove away with my ball, and I was able to approach the players in the second group but they denied picking up the ball even though we all saw them pick it up from yards away. Word of caution, bring cheap balls and try to stay on the fairway!

The course was very well taken care of and is a great spot for beginners to play and practice. The employees were all very friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. I really enjoyed the layout and overall condition. The only thing I wish they had was a bar or some kind of drink service—right now it’s just a vending machine with a few beverages and snacks. Other than that, it’s a great course and I’d definitely come back.

My 17 year old son and 3 of his friends went golfing here about 2 weeks ago. Something to do for them and some practice as they are all beginners. Right from the start, my son stated that the worker there was not very nice. As they were golfing, the worker rode over and told them they had to skip holes because they were not moving along fast enough. Meanwhile, next group of golfers were two holes way. The worker was very rude! I’m sorry, but if they pay, they should play EVERY hole! Not everyone is a professional! My son will not return and I will share this experience with others.

Play first 9 not waiting on a shot. Starter let 3 groups begin on 10 right in front of me. Wudnt of been able to hit for 20 mins. Terrible management

As a new golfer my friend introduced me to the course as a friendly beginner course. The first time was great but the second time was awful. The staff might be the rudest people I have ever met. They SCREAMED and me and my 4 friends for wanting to play with each other due to the limit being 4 people. They ended up yelling at one of my friends and an older gentleman forcing them to tee off with a group of two people. It was seriously just the worst experience ever and really ruined the day for all of us. We were told we did everything wrong and broke every rule possible after 5 beginner golfers…

I was antagonized on five separate occasions by a staff member while playing 18 holes. He repeatedly referred to me as "pal" in a condescending manner and attempted to remove us from the course during the final three holes, citing slow play—even though the course was open for another two hours and the only group behind us was at least four holes back.

Paid to play and then we were told afterwards that we’re being paired with other people which I really did not like. Walking soccer ball golfers were permitted to play through the course and interrupt actual golfers. T spots were in very bad condition. Decent size course for beginners but that’s about it.
