What People Say

In summary

Pine Hills Country Club receives mixed reviews, with some visitors praising its beautiful course layout, friendly staff, and recent improvements under new ownership. However, many criticisms focus on the poor condition of the greens and bunkers, as well as maintenance issues with facilities. While some guests appreciate the reasonable pricing, others feel the course does not offer good value for the cost.

Played here today for the first time in forever, my experience was awful, the greens were full of weeds and sand. The bunkers were hard and full of weeds also. I paid $29.65 to play 9 holes with a cart and I honestly feel robbed, it will definitely be a while before I go back.

Greens might as well be weed filled sand bunkers. It doesn’t seem like the staff does anything to take care of this course. They collect green fees and laugh as you try to play pin ball on the greens with all the weeds growing in the greens. I will never come back to this place.

The layout of the course is beautiful. The purpose of the one star is because the greens aren’t the best and there are weeds and grass growing in the sand traps. Also I forgot my red Stanley cup when I left. When I got home I called the pro shop and he said he had it in the pro shop. I asked him to put my name on it and hold it for me. I finally got a chance to go by today and there’s no cup. Granted I live an hour away so I don’t go to cordele often. I hope whoever has my red Georgia Stanley cup enjoys it and I hope management does better with handling peoples forgotten possessions.

Under new ownership with increased prices. We paid $50 (Senior) and $57 to play here today. Lots of construction on course and the greens are in terrible shape. I have played here often, but no more. For the price charged, you can play courses nearby in much better shape than this.

This course is absolutely amazing. You can tell how much work the current staff is putting into the course to make it a stand out among all of the other golf courses around. The staff is super friendly and extremely helpful. I would definitely recommend playing Due to the reasonable prices and the quality of the greens

This course is a hidden gem that was off the grid for awhile. Reasonably priced approx. $30 for weekend play, strategically located near hwy 300 and exit 99 off I-75. Along with a friendly new staff, the course layout is perfectly balanced to challenge low handicappers, yet open enough not to overwhelm high handicappers. This course has been added back into the rotation of my weekend play. Great job at getting the course back into the wonderful condition that it is currently in!

since new ownership, it's easily the WORST course I've ever played. Weeds everywhere, weeds in the bunkers, it's like they only cut the fairways and greens.. (granted a good golfer would always be in the fairway). facilities are getting run down as well. definitely not worth $30... maybe $12.. I've never been to a course like this.. definitely an experience.. owners, I hope you're reading this, I'm on hole 13 now

This place is awesome. Great family experience. Great for new and developing golfers to come out and learn to play. Great staff up front. Nice cold refreshing beer, sodas, and snacks. Great rates, nice conditioned carts, smooth not to fast greens in great condition, and lovely views.

Paid $82 dollars for my wife and myself to play a round. Clubhouse ladies bathroom was disgusting according to my wife. She walked out immediately. Bathrooms on the course were destroyed with everything you could imagine!!! Greens were rotten and felt like putting on broken brown concrete. Nowhere near the price to play there. Never going back. Watched this corse deteriorate over the past few years.

The greens are pretty terrible. The course has definitely went downhill alot. Not to mention the unfriendly staff after the change in management. The middle aged guy I'm the proshop and the moped guy are extremely rude.

Greens have caught a disease and are unplayable. The staff was terrific. Fairways tight with below average grass However very inexpensive. Good place to practice but don't expect a great round of golf

Total waste of money. May be the worse course I have ever played. Greens are horrible. Fairways are hard as bricks.
