In summary

Pine Valley Golf Club is widely celebrated for its exceptional course layout, challenging yet playable design, and beautiful natural setting. Visitors frequently commend the attentive and friendly staff, as well as the well-maintained clubhouse and amenities. However, some have experienced issues with the website directing them to a different location, and a few reported negative interactions with staff at the gate or pro shop.

Was fortunate to play on a spectacular day to see the course in all its glory. The course is well deserving of all the accolades bestowed by Golf Digest. The clubhouse and locker room are very well preserved and maintained in the traditional northeast US style. The staff was quite attentive and courteous to me as a guest. My caddie was not the salty character that legend had me prepared for. I think this is now my favorite golf experience.

Had the honor of playing this course and staying in one of the cabins many years ago. it is truly a special place and you get the sense of being on hollowed grounds throughout your experience. Bring your A game or you will be devoured.

I was lucky enough to finally see this beautiful course on the final day of the Crump Cup. What's most frustrating is that I live only 4.1 miles away from it. Maybe one day I will be lucky enough to get on but I doubt it. As a Navy Veteran if anyone ever wants to show their appreciation for my service, this would be a dream come true. The layout is spectacular and all I could do was try to envision what club I might choose at any given distance. This place is truly a hidden gem right in my backyard and knowing I'll probably never get the opportunity to play here is gut wrenching. The staff…

Staff could not possibly do anymore. Helpful, friendly, amazing, on every level. Superb! Take a look at the 18th hole Sandtrap. Need I say more? This is a golf Mecca, and well worth the journey to get here. If you have friends or relatives that are members, be nice to them, you do want to be invited back don’t you?😊

I have never played the course, yet I revere it for the several decades it has been recognized the greatest course in the world. It is obvious that some reviewers don't realize that this isn't a club where you simply call the pro shop and book a tee time. Their ire is misplaced and reveals far more about them than it does Pine Valley or its staff and membership.

Why is the website link taking me to one in Michigan? I just blindly paid for a round in MICHIGAN!! Can I please get assistance on how this will be corrected? I believe it should be the responsibility of the company to refund when their website is wrong… please Update: Will be calling… the course hasn’t reached out to correct their wrong. I’m sure they have access to these reviews. If you see this please reach out pine valley. I can provide all the necessary info of purchase.

I have had the thrill and honor of playing Pine Valley many times over a 40 plus year time frame. Quite simply, it is the greatest golf course in the world. Nothing even comes close. If anyone ever gets invited, do not turn it down. Everything about the place is special.

The ambience of Pine Valley was exceptional. While the course is difficult, it’s very playable. Staying on site was a treat as well with its special order breakfasts and Turtle soup in the understated club house. The Crump Cup trophy displayed a deep history of amateur golf. Great experience👍👍👍

Phenomenal golf course. Nature’s beauty surrounds the best golf course in the world! Only so glad trump didn’t buy Pine Valley and ruin it. Staff was friendly, accommodating and so very helpful. If you have only one final game, make sure it’s played at Pine Valley as I’ll bet God’s on the hole behind you!

An incredible piece of land with 18 amazing holes. The sounds of a flushed driver through the pine lined valley is amazing. The members and staff were so welcoming and made the experience one I will always cherish. Snapper soup to finish was also fantastic in a beautiful clubhouse.
