In summary

Wedgwood Country Club is appreciated for its enjoyable course layout and the presence of a bar, with some visitors finding the greens to be in good condition. However, many guests express dissatisfaction with the maintenance of the fairways, rough, and bunkers, as well as issues with the golf carts' geofencing system. Additionally, customer service is frequently criticized, with reports of unprofessional staff behavior impacting the overall experience.

It has been over 15 years that I played there. What the heck happened to this place? The Bad: Course grounds(fairways and rough) were trash. Greens could use some work. Pulling up to the course, I honestly thought it was abandon. Even, my brother from out of town, said "this is our course?" There should be approach markers where the carts go to when approaching the greens. Carts were banged up. Stupid gps thing would freeze my cart every time I "supposedly" was a no drive area, which was not marked anywhere. How the heck was I suppose to know that this was a cart path only. It was so frustrati…

Not as bad as the reviews. Greens A+ Fairways A- Bunkers F Rough C- Geofence on carts F It’s a great course and great layout. Just drop the balls outside the bunker , and play preferred lies.

Avoid this place and don't give them your business! I've only played here twice and will never again. The employees that work there are from my experience ALL very rude and unprofessional. To the point where it seems blatantly obvious they just don't care. And I don't expect much when I go play golf, just basic common courtesy. But aside from the employees, the carts are just a nightmare and so unpleasant to deal with. At least 6-7 during my last round did the GPS cut the power while I was ON the cart path, saying I was in an area it wasn't allowed, which wasn't the case at all. Several times…

It wasn't as bad as the other reviews stated. The course was a little cluttered, but there was an all day fund raising event the day before. I enjoy it, but I'm a 36 handicap. Regardless, I played on much less manicured courses and paid more. I agree that the rates could be dropped by 10 or 15 percent. The ranger made a comment to my nephews that we were the first ones out and we will set the pace for the day. I don't see the big deal in that. The ranger has a job. All in all, the course isn't bad, a bit dated. I played G O D awful, but still had a nice day. Thanks for having us.

Before you eat or drink there check their rating with the board of Health. Owner and management are grossly negligent in keeping the place up to code. Crazy stuff going on in there with multiple complaints the state is aware of. Better places to go where you can feel confident in not becoming sick.

The tall guy with grey hair working in the pro shop today was completely unprofessional. When I arrived, he was on a personal phone call (on speaker) the entire time and never acknowledged anyone checking in - just kept pointing to the credit card machine. We heard all about his upcoming ski trip to Okemo. Our group wasn’t sent out until about 25 minutes after our scheduled tee time due to course delays, which meant we couldn’t finish our round. When we returned the carts, he aggressively cursed at us for not bringing them back “15 minutes before sunset”. Yelling and swearing at customers i…

They either don’t read their reviews, or chose to ignore them, don’t know what is worse. Carts are horribly slow and there are no markers on the course for geo fence boundaries. Greens may be the only saving grace here as the tee boxes, fairways, and rough are in poor condition. The bunkers don’t even have sand in them, they are either packed down with rocks, or saturated to the point of being a water hazard. The course is not worth the money. The real worst part is their customer service though. Having a ranger stop you because you are “1 minute behind pace of play” as per the cart is crazy.…

Decent course - $60 for a Friday afternoon rate. Not too long and most holes are nice and straight, just not well maintained. Could just be it’s late in the season in September as I write this. But course has great potential. Friendly service and bar in the clubhouse. Not far drive from philly either.

I had my baby shower there and it was truly amazing. They decorated the main room and it was everything we could hope for. The food is amazing!!! Fabulous menu choices! And did I say affordable? The staff was truly amazing and helpful! Can’t wait for my newborn son’s birthday. Thinking we’ll come back here!

Good course layout and condition are ok. Little pricey on weekend mornings, but overall a great place to play a round of golf.

Very nice people, rough course. Could benefit from more maintenance. The golf carts governors make it very challenging. Locked out on the cart paths is a consistent issue. Prepare to push your cart. However the employees are friendly and want you to enjoy yourself. Yes, you will step in goose droppings.

Disappointing Experience with Staff – Not Worth the Hassle The course itself wasn’t in terrible condition, but the staff experience ruined the round. Arrived at 5:00 PM hoping to get in 18 holes. Bill at the pro shop said it was a slow night and only allowed us to play 9, but mentioned we could continue if we finished quickly. Came back at 6:30 PM ready to play a few more holes, willing to pay the full 18-hole rate. Instead, Bill said it was too late to ring it up in the system and told us we were done. Felt more like he was ready to get back to his movie than help out paying customers. Now…
