Extremely disappointed as a local resident who recommended this course to visiting family As a local resident, I’m embarrassed that I recommended Pine View Golf Course to my visiting family from Arizona. My son and nephews had a confirmed 9:30 AM tee time and were told over the phone that rental clubs would be available. After driving 25 minutes to the course, staff suddenly claimed only one rental set was available and refused to allow club sharing - despite the boys having their own set as well. When my sister-in-law spoke to management, she was given a completely different explanation abo…

We are visiting from Arizona and my son and nephews went to golf this morning at Pine View and had a tee time scheduled for 9:30 from the day before and they called first and asked if they could rent clubs. The lady told them yes. We drove 25 minutes to the course and they went in by themselves because they are 18 and one is 13. They told them they only had one set of clubs to rent and that they couldn't share the clubs. The lady should have said they had one set of clubs on the phone to rent if that was the case. They also brought their own set so they would have had two sets of clubs. They d…

Disappointed grandmother - Why discourage young people from outdoor activities? As a grandmother, I’m deeply disappointed in how Pine View Golf Course treated my grandsons. These are well-behaved young men who choose to spend their time outdoors playing golf rather than inside with video games - exactly the kind of activity we should be encouraging in today’s world. Why would any business discourage young people from participating in activities that help them grow into contributing members of society? This kind of treatment is exactly why so many young people today prefer to stay inside and…

One Star - Disappointed out of state visitors I'm writing this review based on a very frustrating experience my nephews had while visiting Indiana on vacation. We are visiting family in the area and they were excited to golf together as they all live in separate states. Local family members and friends recommended Pine View Golf Course. We booked online and called ahead to confirm that they could reserve clubs. They were told that this would be no problem. When they arrived there were a multitude of excuses provided as to why they could not golf, including age and not having drivers licenses…

Unfortunately we drove from another local town to enjoy a day of golf; however, this is one of the worst golf courses I’ve played. Not only was it hard to tell where the fairways were, but the grass was so poorly maintained meaning the grass was weeds instead of grass. Tee boxes in poor condition and the worst part was the brown greens that were overgrown. How are the greens brown with all the rain we’ve had? The normal speed of the greens was greatly affected by this overgrown mistake. Hard to find the cart path too because there was hit or miss asphalt. The question is how do you charge my w…

My two 18-year-old nephews (both experienced and well-mannered golfers) and their 13-year-old brother were treated with shockingly poor judgment at Pine View Golf Course upon arrival for their tee time. They had booked in advance and confirmed availability of rental clubs. However, when they arrived, staff suddenly claimed only one rental set remained—effectively preventing two of them from playing. Although the course was noticeably quiet, the staff gave rude and dismissive attitudes, and searched for arbitrary reasons to deny their entry. There was absolutely no legitimate or logistical excu…

Poor management response made a bad situation even worse I’m writing this as a local resident whose family was discriminated against at Pine View Golf Course. My son and nephews (visiting from Arizona) were turned away from their confirmed tee time despite having rental clubs confirmed in advance. What made this situation inexcusable was the manager’s follow-up call to my sister. Instead of apologizing and making things right, the manager doubled down with additional fabricated excuses - all of which were easily proven false. When informed that both 18-year-olds have valid driver’s licenses…

I had a tee time after a youth golf tournament and had a group of 5 people. They let me know in advance that we might have to wait (totally understandable). They gave my group drinks and hot dogs on the house while we waited to do the back 9. The employees are extremely nice and accommodating. I will definitely be back!

We had our first ever golf outing for a non-profit and the owners and staff were extremely helpful in making it a success. Not only did we raise money, but we learned more than we could imagine as they also helped with the planning of the event. Thank you Pineview Golf Course for a memorable event!!!!

Guys golf weekend at Pine View, course is in good shape. Hit the fairway or you'll be searching in the rough. Great experience and look forward to coming back. Felt at home the whole time there. Staff is great and always a smile.
