In summary

Pines of Georgina Golf Course is appreciated for its challenging layout with tight fairways and numerous water hazards, offering a good test of golf. Many visitors commend the friendly and accommodating staff and the overall value for money, especially with family-friendly deals. However, some golfers have expressed concerns about inconsistent course maintenance, particularly regarding tee boxes, greens, and wet fairways, which have affected their experience.

Beautiful course in Georgina! Tight and narrow fairways which makes this course tough and challenging with all of the water hazards. And if the water isn’t the problem then it’s the tree lines and dense grasses that swallow up your ball. Front 9 I felt were wider and have more view and the back 9 was hidden amongst the forest and you really have to follow the map to the next hole. The tee boxes were chewed up on some holes but the greens were smooth and had a good roll. I would’ve given this place one star less due to my personal opinion of the general tightness of the course but the customer…

I first started golfing Pines of Georgina  ~ 17 years ago when my kids were small and I could sneak in 18 holes first thing in the morning before they got up.  What I liked most about the course back then was that it was a good test of golf that I could get through in under 4 hours at an affordable price!!! Now fast-forward to today, I find myself back at the Pines once again but this time with a summer membership so that I can properly test out my new Taylor Made P-770 irons any time I please during weekdays (love the irons by the way). The course is just as I remembered it with its tight fa…

Great course. We were here for a fund raiser and the course was in great shape. The hardest part of this course is the compactness. You don't need to drive 300yrds but you need to be accurate with your shot placement. Staff were very friendly and the burger before was very tasty!

I’ve golfed this course several times over the past few years. This course is challenging and in very good upkeep. I’m really surprised at the negative reviews. My experience playing at least 8 times here has been very favourable. I’d play this course 10times over versus a city course. People in the pro shop very friendly and accommodating.

Been some time since I have played here. Fairways and Greens in great shape. Tee decks need some work. Better hit it straight or bring/buy some extra balls. Staff is friendly. Refreshment prices are reasonable. Green fee prices can be had for a good price.

I played this course as a part of a package so I don't know what it costs to play it on it's own. For a country course I found the layout quite challenging. Very tight on the back 9, and lots of water to be aware of. Certainly lived up to it's 126 slope and could have even been higher. The course was in pretty good shape, although the fairway grass was not cut down as much as some other courses. All in all a great experience and I would certainly return when I'm in the area.

First review ever posted… but this is needed. Golfing this course for years and this has been the worst condition this course has ever been in. Grass on par 3 tee decks are no where to be found, fairways are equivalent to rough, mud balls on almost every shot, some greens soaked some greens dead it’s 50/50. 9th green was being cut at 1:30 so who knows what greens are cut and not cut, morning golfers beware you may have to keep the glove on for a couple putts. Unless you can grab a HotDeal on Golfnow I would just spend the money at Lyndhurst. If condition is not of concern this is your home.

Very nice 18 hole track. A few very wet spots on the back 9. Well worth the $60 green fee

Not worth the money. Tee boxes are chewed like nothing I’ve ever seen. Greens are okay but lots of ball marks fairways are wet on the back 9 . Won’t be back for 85 bucks that’s forsure.

Guy told me a price of 70 dollars on the phone to meet up with a twosome with tax and cart. Drive 40 minutes to Get there and the guy tells me it’s 93 dollars because I have to pay for the other seat in the cart. That’s not a thing at any other course and this is definitely not a 93 dollar course. Greens are trash grounds are always so wet and terrible. Don’t go here!!

Used to love this place , used to be very well kept. Often played it twice a week. Can’t be bothered anymore. When you charging $85 on a weekend you need to look after your greens , terrible ball marks all over the green. Not to much the debris from the trees all over the course and greens. Atleast blow off the greens ! Hopefully they can get their act together or they will be losing a lot of their regulars. Hopefully this place doesn’t become the next lyndhurst.
