In summary

Lakeview House Golf Course is frequently praised for its affordability and suitability for beginners, with forgiving fairways and a peaceful, natural setting. The family-owned course is noted for its friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere, making it a pleasant spot for a casual round of golf. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about the course's condition and the absence of a liquor license, as well as the policy against personal carts, which may inconvenience those with mobility issues.

Visited today, but not for golfing. Lakeview has been hosting the "We the Makers" Market for the past few weeks. Although the weather was very fall like (rainy, windy & cool) the were about a dozen artisan vendors braving the elements. Everything from candles, doggie outfits, to handcrafted soaps and leather accessories. There are a few more markets scheduled before the snow flies, so come and support your local small businesses.

Surprised by this course, fairly cheap round for 9holes in this area and super forgiving fairways. Greens aren’t anything special, but what do you expect for a farm course… overall if you’re a beginner or want to get out with a new golfer this is a great place to swing the club for some practice!

Don't recommend. Course is in awful shape. Management is not pleasant. No liquor license and lots of drinkers on the course. Steer clear !

This is a nice place for a quick 9 holes especially if you love nature. It’s very peaceful and quiet with beautiful trees and wildlife. It’s a family owned business and the staff are the best! When I was there everyone got a free bottle of water and I thought that was a nice touch. Plus, my son loved that they had some candy snacks for sale and two cute little dogs. The washroom was clean and had everything needed. There was plenty of parking accross the street. My son and I had a great afternoon here.

4.5/5 Great course for what it is! It's reasonable priced which is nice for now a days, the course itself is usually for the most part in good shape, the staff are nice and welcoming. Course is just a 9 hole, and walking only. The challenge level is beginner to intermediate. Never really crazy busy which is nice as well.

This a great course for the money. Not usually that busy unless its on the weekend or holiday as this is around the corner from Jackson's Point which a nice vacation spot. Everyone in the club house is very nice and very helpful. This is a great beginners course for kids or Seniors. No matter your skill level you still have to get the ball in the hole..lol.

Great course for the price. First time playing today. Very forgiving fairways with lots of room on the right side. Will definitely be back soon. Greens had some bad spots. Good for high handicappers.

Sadly, I won’t be able to play Lakeview because the owner was unwilling to allow me to bring my own cart. I have a fused ankle, fused back and right drop foot. I love to play golf and bought a home 500 yards from this course. I offered to buy a membership, or pay extra and explained why I couldn’t walk the course…if fell on deaf ears. I also shared that I play weekly with friends and that a strong revenue stream would go elsewhere. She didn’t care. I am going to check with the city to see if any human rights are being violated by her decision. I will be curious of the answer.
