In summary

Pinewood Golf Course is frequently praised for its friendly staff, well-maintained greens, and suitability for beginners or those looking to improve their short game. The course offers good value, especially with student discounts and affordable food options, including popular items like fish and burgers. However, some visitors have noted issues with uneven tee boxes, sand traps filled with weeds, and older golf carts, suggesting room for improvement in maintenance and transparency in pricing.

If you're going to pay $61 for 18 holes, 2 canned beverages and a cart, I'd suggest doing it somewhere else. Wifi is no longer available to the public, the pricing has nearly doubled and the rates are just listed as "competitive" on their website. There are far better courses in the area to golf if you're spending that kind of money. Before this year, it was a good course for the price. Trying to have "competitive" prices with a course that does not compete with others in the area is what my entire post was about. Again, there are far better courses in the area to golf if you're spending that…

A golf course with huge potential. The course maintenance was a little behind. Sand traps were really rough filled with weeds. The clubhouse was great. I'm hoping I just went on an off day. I'll check it out again later.

Highly recommend! Awesome par 3 with great prices (student discounts available). There are also two driveable par 4's. 18 holes is only $4 or $5 more than 9, and it's well worth it. 18 holes plays like 9 on a standard course. On average it takes 1 hr 15 min to 1 hr 30 min to walk 9 holes. My only complaints are the uneven tee boxes and the grass in the sand traps, but for the price I can easily overlook them.

Great course for beginners, very straightforward; or if you're a long bomber a fun place to sharpen your short game. Course has come a long way in the last couple years; fairways and greens in great shape. New owners are fantastic & have added good food.

service workers are good - you can always tell who is new though. they offer some good deals. greens are decent. carts aren't the best - had one quit on us at the second hole - they could use newer ones. owners are fantastic people.

Pinewood Golf Course is a great course to work on your short game. The course is set up perfectly for beginners as well as anyone looking to dial in with their irons. Jasen and Faith are very friendly and work really hard to make Pinewood a great environment for all golfers! Also, their food menu and pricing is excellent! 5/5 stars!
