Whitetail Golf Course

Good northwoods with very different playing 9s. No pro shop and an ok clubhouse with great low key staff and atmosphere. Cost to play 18 with cart wasnt terrible and the carts were basic. Greens were ok but rolled fast. Lots of varying terrain. The front 9 was much more open where the back 9 was a lot tighter. Watch out for horseshoe number 14 where even a good hit place wrong can score bad on this hole. Fairways and tee boxes were pretty nothwoods typical. I thought it was a good time if you were looking for relaxed play.

Nice course with some interesting holes. F9 is open and B9 is tight and shorter. The condition was good. Very friendly place and its is known around golf circles as a hidden gem.

Nice little buffet. Food is tasty and a bit of variety. It’s kept well stocked and clean. Fish is cod. Deep fried smaller pieces. Guest with me enjoyed the bite sized shrimp too. Chicken breast was dry but the legs were tasty. Salad toppings very minimal. Cold salads appx 4 to choose from. Complete meal with 1 dessert choice too. (Apple cake tonight). Couple of areas could use improvement-employees should know the cost. We called were told a price. We overheard a waitress tell another couple a different price (same buffet). Our bill was neither of those prices, but more! $18.95 each. 😣. No ind…

Beautiful golf course. Front 9 pretty wide open with some small elevation changes. Back 9 more challenging with woods, some significant elevation changes from Tee to Green. Food is great with an excellent fish and chicken buffet on Friday and burgers in the front bar area daily. Staff is excellent and very friendly. Exceptional service!

One of my favorite golf courses in the area. A decent mix of challenging holes. Service is great and friendly but can get super busy during times.

We held our school golf outing there today. The course was emcullate and the outing was very well managed. We also had a lunch of pulled pork, potatoe salad, and dinner of the best mac and cheese I've tasted. This golf course is well managed and a great place to golf and have fun.

Well the fish was fantastic, the baked was moist,the broiled was dry to me,the chicken was dry to me,the steam veggies were a bit hard to me. The place was great. But by the time I got back to my seat my food was cold. Even though it was very busy every thing went well. But I myself will not come back here.

Whitetail is an affordable and solid golf course to play. Every time I bring friends from outside the area, they are blown away! Keep up the good work!

I rarely give a 5 star review, but the Friday Fish Fry Buffet was excellent! The staff was great, the drinks were great, & the food in the buffet was excellent! My wife, our son, & myself went for dinner, referred by a friend. I really can't express how pleased we were with it. Homemade bread! The broccoli salad, potato salad, made on location & tasted great! The fish, fried or baked, delicious! The entire staff was hustling, seemed to be very organized & doing everything possible to keep the buffet stocked & us customers happy. Went golfing for Father's day and we were grossly disappointed. We booked 2 tee times for a group of 5 and were confronted twice about how long it took us to golf after allowing 4 groups to play through. We felt rushed and did NOT feel we got what we paid for. We paid $300 with tip for 18 holes and we were not provided services suited to that amount. Courses were lovely, a shame we coyld not have the time to enjoy them. We will NOT return

Decided to try the fish fry. It was so delicious 😋. Lots to offer my little boy absolutely loved the chicken and Mac & cheese . Very reasonable priced and definitely will be back for the fish fry buffet.

Great choice off salads. Shrimp and fish was good. Mac and cheese was good, you could tell is was made on premise. Only complaint is a easy fix. There was no tongs to get your bread. Bread was very fresh and good.
