Platteville Golf & Country Club

Weather was great obtained a 1:40 pm tee time with my 5 year old son. People were so supportive but we let them play through anyway.

Great food, great specials, good selection of beers, and a really nice golf course.

Great golf course! Greens in good condition and challenging with many slopes. Shorter course however it's made up for with how many hills it's built on. Challenging in the right ways while still being a fun course to play. Recommend! Will be returning soon!

Hard to beat this course. Beautiful course that I can easily compare to Freeport for the money. I just golfed Lacoma today and that is easily the worst Dubuque.

The Platteville Golf Course is amazing! 18 holes, gorgeous views, nice bunkers and fast greens! I'm biased because I live here but it has to be one of my favorites. The staff is super friendly, the cook in the restaurant is fabulous and the food rocks!

Lovely golf course! The feel of the grass is the best I've played since going to Portugal. Only heard about through friends recommendations and I'd say it's fully underrated. Greenskeepers should be proud of the course they're maintaining. Worth is the 30 minute drive from Dubuque. The course guide is very thorough. Great distance markers which would be useful for familiar players or first time at the course.

Food very good! Drinks and food priced reasonably. Has all been remodeled, so it looks very nice with good amount of seating. Waited a good 45 min for food order, but they were busy with several large groups Staff kept checking on us and making sure we had drinks and knew the status of our order. I would definitely return!

Always enjoy my time golfing here. We're are occasionally told it's too busy for a tee time on the phone, but when we show up to see if we can squeeze on it's completely dead. The last time this happened, we literally paused on hole #2, where you can see holes #1, #2, #3, #8, and #9 and we couldn't see or hear another golfer on the course. Maybe they just had several groups cancel, but other then league nights, it always seems like it's best to just show up. It also seems like they should be able to better capitalize on food and beverage service. I've heard rumors of a new housing development…

We had a business luncheon here today and it exceeded our expectations. They were all very accommodating from Nicole the bartender to a board member that was there helping make sure we had a great experience. The food was very good and I was impressed with the chef's attention to detail. I will be bringing friends and family to dine here in the future.

Great course, original 9 holes built in 1921 and they have the character to prove it. Small undulating greens and tree lined fairways means you better bring your A game. The back nine was added in the late 80's or early 90's and the new nine retains the character of the original 9 holes. Small undulating greens and tree lined fairways. Want-to-be high end course. Terrible experience for casual golfers. Golfed with a group of 10 with three tee times. We all bought twelve packs from the bar. A "part owner" in a cut-off told one of our guys he couldn't bring in any of his own beer. Never had that experience before but fair so we all left the couple extra craft beers we brought in our cars. The same guy would follow us when near the club house and just grab beers from our carts to check the labels. I really enjoyed walking 18 holes at Platteville Golf Club. The course was meticulously maintained, especially around the greens and tee boxes. While the bunkers were hard, they weren't unplayable. My only gripe about the course would be that many of the greens are hard with steep and sloping edges, so you'll be faced with many 3 foot putts that break almost 90 degrees and little taps that roll 20 feet further than intended.
