Prairie View Golf Club

Always a fun place to play. As with all courses this time of year, they are very dry. The greens and fairways were green. It was difficult to keep the ball close to the hole today. You needed a lot of spin to control the ball on the greens. My putting was poor, but had nothing to do with the course. (Operator error)

Played on July 21, 2023. Everything about the course was very nice. Tee boxes to greens were great. It has some challenging holes. But nothing ridiculous. I noticed that the slope/rating was a bit lower than the course I normally play, so instead of the senior tees I played the white. I played to my handicap. I could have taken a couple of strokes off if I was more familiar with the course. It would definitely be a great course for a Scramble or an outing!

We had a blast out here! We only played the front 9 which was enough for me lol... We're told that the back 9 has quite a few more hazards. We also got to speak with one of the owners-said he'd been there for 17 years! Looks like they do a nice job as the place is in great condition and is ran really well. We must not be the only ones that think so either since the parking lot was full when we got there at 12:30 on a Wednesday. Thanks for a great time, we'll be back!

First time playing this course. It is a very flat course. Being a beginner golfer, it was a good course. I actually was able to hit the green from the tee box. First time!! Had a great time golfing. Hope to play this course again soon.

I absolutely love this golf course, staff very friendly. And always treat us very good.

Greens are in good/really good shape. Fairways are in good/really shape. The cart paths are really nice! (I hate cart paths full of potholes) my only complaint, is that the tees are a bit unlevel in spots, especially the blue tees. Overall, it is a very enjoyable course in pretty darn good shape at a very reasonable price!!

I have been playing this course regularly for about 6 years and each year it just gets better and better, by far one of the nicest well manicured course in the area

Gotta say, everything I go there I am more and more impressed. Doug and staff really take great care of this course. Plus it's a fraction of the price as some area courses where where the conditions are not near as favorable. Wish I lived closer so I could play it more.

Played 10/23/19 and the course was beautiful. Tee boxes, fairways and greens were all in great shape. Extremely easy course to walk with no elevation changes to speak of. I could be remembering wrong, but I don't think there was even a single green raised more than a couple feet at most. Good golfers should eat this course up as there's little in the way of hazards and no blind shots. What the course lacks in challenges it more than makes up for in great maintenance and a friendly staff. Definitely recommend to others.
