In summary

Quartz Mountain Golf Course receives mixed reviews, with some visitors appreciating the friendly staff and enjoying the potential and peaceful setting of the course. However, many express concerns about the course's maintenance, citing issues like overgrown fairways, poorly maintained greens, and weed-infested sand traps. While a few find value in the pricing and continue to visit regularly, others are disappointed by the decline in course conditions and management.

Not what it used to be. I used to play this course all the time, but it is a shadow of its former self. I'm not sure who runs this course but when you have stickers growing in the sand traps and half dead greens it's a serious problem and you need to hire a real keeper, not an amateur. I really wish they would get this course back in shape because I love to play here but it seems to have fallen on hard times like so many of the other surrounding courses in the area. I'll give 2 stars as the staff is always super friendly and helpful despite the shortcomings of the course.

a little pricey for 18 holes of golf for two people ($88 - $22 a person for 9 holes) but enjoyed it. the course has a lot of potential and my husband and I had a great time together. staff was also nice and helpful!

It's very sad to see how bad this course has become. Had a large group playing on July 6 so several went out on July 5 and played. Lost balls in the unmowed fairways. Grass/weeds on tee boxes deep enough to prevent teeing off correctly. Greens are being taken over with dead spots and they are allowing greens to get smaller. Plenty of weeds have overtaken the traps and cart paths. Grass burrs will take course over real quick if they don't get control of things. They did attempt to mow(bad attempt) before our outing but it was a sorry job This course will not exist in a few year if something…

Just played this golf course Sunday June 30, 2019 and the course is in terrible shape. You hit the ball in the fairway and the grass hasn’t been mowed in so long you can’t see your ball. The greens were dry and grass too tall and we asked before playing when the grass was last cut and was told it was mowed on Friday, must have meant Friday a week or two ago. I will not be back.

Grassburrs terrible. Family membership fees doubled in price with no increase in single membership fees. They refer to a couple as male and male or female and female, etc. It's sad for that in SW Oklahoma! CEO is Terry Mosley from Altus , OK. Quartz is under the Oklahoma Board of Regents.

Wonderful course with awesome greens. $22 gets you a cart and 18 and it is well worth the price. I come her at the very least once a week and will continue coming.
