In summary

Remington Parkview Golf & Country Club is appreciated for its well-maintained courses, friendly staff, and enjoyable layout that caters to both beginners and more experienced players. The club offers a scenic setting with urban elements like power towers and train tracks, adding a unique charm to the golfing experience. However, some visitors have noted issues with pace of play and occasional management challenges, particularly during busy times.

Besides hole 14 under repair, decently maintained. Frost-warning delayed us heavily, but it was honestly a beautiful course and really cool sights with the city, train and landscape around/throughout the course. Easy-enough for beginners/mid level players for sure.

Great time ar this course. Love playing here. The course was in fantastic shape, no hold ups at a great price. The staff here is so friendly and the food is amazing. The place and bathrooms was very clean and had a contemporary feel after their renovations. The chipping/putting area and is big and nice for a little warm up. Plenty of parking and overall a great experience

Two totally different types of courses the valley is exceptionally challenging with multiple types of holes. The upper is straight flat with trees good for practicing drivers and irons. Distance the staff is phenomenal. Food is mediocre. I wish they would make their sandwiches with wraps not bread so it's not soggy

I was invited by a friend to play the valley course on the weekend. It was busy, total play took over 4.5 hours. I liked the variety of short and long holes and some challenges on the short par 3's. However, there are some major choke points, holes 3/4/5 are very close to each other and a sliced ball on 5 can hit the 3rd green. Also on fairways on 8 & 9, players can get crossed over and play just get slowed when players on 8 fairway hit on 9 fairway and they look for their balls.

The Valley course was surprisingly nice. The Upper course is alright. I like the renovation they did to their clubhouse too. Also, I always see a group of turkeys on this course.

Update July 2024: Parkview keeps on improving, better conditioning overall and nice tee box markers, for example. Personally, I now prefer the long flat layout of the Upper course vs the interesting elevation and river crossing challenges of the Valley. Greens in the Upper are very good and generally of fair size and slope. The power towers still clang when you hit them which I think is fun but others may find it to be a nuisance. The train crossing usually does not hold you up too long but the noise does disturb some golfers. There is a new tee box location to hole 15 (hopefully temporary) th…

I am not one to write reviews. But after throwing a 80 surprise party for my husband on Oct 25 2025 I feel I must . Wish there were more stars to give them. The venue could not be better. Logan our food and beverage manager could not do enough for us . From Set up to a terrific Roast Beef , salmon buffet. Of which 74 out of 74 people are still raving about it was the best they have ever had at this type of party. Amanda and all the staff were very attentive to our needs . We had a live band of witch Remington had a Stage they set up for our 4 piece band. Sound was amazing. The band was very im…

I have had experience with this GC since the late 60s. With so much development since then it is a bonus that much of the original course is still in service. I am extra impressed with Superintendent Rob and his crew. To a person they are friendly and accommodating. It is clear that they take pride in their work as the course looks wonderful from April to November.

Great first experience golfing and at this club! Tuesday was perfect there weren’t many people so we were able to move along at our pace. The restaurant/pub is nice too. The server girls are friendly and helpful. Will go again!

We had a 4:30 PM tee time, but unfortunately the experience was disappointing. The group ahead of us played extremely slowly, forcing us to wait over 20 minutes at nearly every hole. Despite this, none of the marshals intervened to maintain pace of play. As a result, we were only able to complete 13 holes before losing daylight. Overall, the course needs stronger pace-of-play management from marshals to ensure that groups are able to complete their rounds in a reasonable amount of time.

If you’re looking for a good golfing experience, this isn’t the place to go. I went to play twilight golf here with two friends, tee time at 4:30 PM. Right away, things started off poorly - no one was at the front desk when we arrived, and when someone finally showed up, he acted like we were inconveniencing him. As I was checking in, he aggressively told me to check my email and pay immediately because I booked through the GolfNow app. I had no problem paying, but the way he handled it was unnecessary and unprofessional. We knew we probably wouldn’t finish all 18 holes before dark, but figu…

Had our company golf tournament there yesterday. From start to finish the staff was nothing but professional and friendly and very accommodating. I would 10/10 have our tournament there again. My guys loved trying to chip through the hydro towers and I thought crossing the train track was so much fun.
