In summary

Rio Pinar Country Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, challenging layout, and top-notch facilities, which include a Trackman range and a welcoming clubhouse. The staff is often highlighted for their friendliness and professionalism, contributing to a positive overall experience. However, some visitors have noted issues with slow pace of play and occasional service inconsistencies, such as malfunctioning amenities or unresponsive staff during adverse weather conditions.

Had the pleasure to play by myself at Rio Pinar yesterday at 8:26. Jeff was very helpful in explaining the course and Jacob, the night before, did a great job in helping me book my tee time. Course was in great shape with very fast greens. And yes, when people talk about the squirrels in the other reviews, they are not joking. They are everywhere and will legit take your food out of your cart no hesitation. Only reasons this not 5/5 star review was that pace of play could’ve been a little better, I was told there was a group of 9 in front of me broken into threesomes. I ended up playing thru t…

This place is PURE. The facilities are top of the line, the folks working there clearly love what they do. Couldn’t have been more accommodating. As for the golf, absolutely top notch. Greens are firm fast and true. Course is challenging in the best way and in perfect condition. 10/10

Rio Pinar Golf Club is easily one of the best public courses in the Orlando area. As a professional golfer, I’m really impressed with the overall course conditions. The greens are firm and fast, and the course is challenging but fair. It’s a great test of golf and definitely worth playing if you’re in Orlando.

Had a top notch time playing 18 here. There’s a little work here and there that they are taking care of and doesn’t effect gameplay. The clubhouse was really nice and the food was excellent. Chipping/putting green was nice and so was the driving range. All in all it was a great looking course and fairly challenging, I will be a returning customer for sure

I really liked this course. It’s an old PGA championship course from the mid 60s. Therefore, it’s a bit challenging, but not overly difficult for the average golfer. The course was in very good condition with the exception of a couple of the tee boxes. The greens run fast. Carts are very nice and sport GPS, a cooler, and club/ball washer -nice. The worst part about the course (and others in the area) is trying to find your ball if it’s off the fairway. The grass just seems to swallow your ball. Even though its playable, you’ll have to find it first. LOL. Negatives: no drinking water on the cou…

I haven't been there for a while, but last week I spent a week playing and training there with my kids. It's amazing how this facility has developed over the last few months. The new owner has invested a lot and put a lot of love into it! The range (Trackman) and academy are brilliant. The staff were great, the food delicious and the course really beautiful! We'll be back any time!

New favorite course! Golfed here for the first time today and we loved it! Not only was the course in amazing shape from, greens, fairways and rough (minus just a few tee boxes getting aerated) but the staff were extremely friendly knowledgeable and helpful! Course quality was equal to celebration panther lake and even the Disney courses! Shade at tee boxes from tees is nice and the layout of the homes is very enjoyable not too difficult and not too dull. Had a beverage cart girl on a Friday which is hard to come by on courses now a days, great to have tht on a hot day. Side note the fox squir…

Outstanding course. Great layout. Very reasonable rates. This is one of the courses I come down from Canada for specifically. Starter, clubhouse staff, beer cart staff all very friendly. Course was in pretty good shape considering there has been no rain. I'll be back next week for sure.

The golf course itself is good. Otherwise, no idea how this place stays in business. It’s like they can’t decide if they want to be a 5 star restaurant or a golf club. It’s definitely not golf course food. Pickleball is $60/hr ($15pp and you have to have 4) and a pain to sign up for. There’s free courts down the street. The new track man range has yet to function properly when we’ve been. Not sure why you need to spend $25 to reserve a bay because no one is there, you can just walk up and pay for balls. We live close enough that we used to walk over and play 9 holes after work, but they stoppe…

7 miles away from my house lies one of Central Florida’s best known golf courses that used to have PGA tournaments back in the day. Management and staff have done an excellent job in keeping up with the course maintenance and making sure that this is still a gem of a course to play. Went out with the league that I play in on Monday and played 18 and greens had been punched two weeks prior to us playing and were recovering and rolling very very well. Always a pleasure playing at a course that is well-maintained and the staff is well trained as well.
