River Edge Golf Course

Again, the staff are awesome, but the course is a wreck. Would be fun for a game with your buddies , but it’s just not tournament ready. Tee boxes and range are a disaster. Bunkers are unplayable, rocks, standing water, and the sand (for the most part) is heavy and packed, oh, and good luck finding a rake. Greens in shaded areas are unplayable, mostly dirt. So, enjoy your plugged lies, mud balls, imbedded balls, and standing water, if I have a choice, my money will go elsewhere.

This is a great course for the price you pay. Some holes are wide open, while some play fairly tight through the trees. The only reason for 4 stars is the greens and some tee boxes are pretty rough. They did aerate the greens not all that long ago. This place has my number for some reason, but I recommend playing here. I feel this course is much better than Marshfield's other course!

Beautiful golf course, friendly staff and absolutely gorgeous grounds.

Let me start with the positives. The staff is among the friendliest I’ve ever encountered. The prices are decent. The range balls are also pretty decent. The clubhouse, bar, and washrooms are quite nice. There is plenty of parking. Now for the negatives. The golf course is an absolute wreck. The practice range is an unmaintained mess. Tee boxes are torn up really bad and some aren’t level. Fairways are absolute garbage, we played a tournament and played the ball down, some lies were in divots and some on bare dirt. We got married at RiverEdge Golf Course in Marshfield, WI, and it was truly everything we dreamed of and more. HUGE shout out to Jill and staff. The Poppy wedding and reception was absolutely AMAZING!! The food was the best wedding sit down meal I ever had—so many compliments!! The bartenders were awesome—so friendly and wait time was very minimal. Thank you for making our day most memorable!!

The Hannah Center Banquet was a great time and a wonderful way to give back to our community!

Went to a Christmas party at the banquet hall. Food was good, but my best experience was when I was looking for a quiet place away from the crowd. I went with my group to the downstairs bar that was currently not being used. We were a little worried that we might be told to leave that area, but the one employee that we saw totally got it. Thanks so much for your hospitality and understanding that not everybody wants to "party hardy."

Nice course however the service, especially at the bar is not very good, I’ve been to this course several times and the staff at the bar is allergic to helping people unless they are regulars that they know personally, if you are not one of them, you will be waiting for a while.

We enjoyed the course and everyone was friendly, we will see you again!

Wonderful Good Friday buffet for a good price and it has lots of options including salad bar, tips, fish, shrimp, potatoes, veggies and also has a desert table! YUMMY! We had Pam as a waitress and she was AWESOME. Extremely nice and helpful on a very busy night! Great experience and will definitely be back next year!
