Played an event here today. Their greens fees are robbery. Course conditions were terrible. The bunkers were be best condition than the entirety of the rest of the course. Greens are inconsistent speeds and softness for approach. You could catch a flier from the fairway here. I played here regularly ten years ago and there have been ZERO improvements since then. No drinking water on course. Saw the drink cart once in 18 holes. They have a range which was pretty shaggy and torn up. That describes the entire course: Shaggy and torn up.

Northwoods course with a great atmosphere. Club house wasn't bad but bathrooms downstairs and out of the way was weird; nice horseshoe bar. Pro shop was ok. This course is a little tucked in out of the way but wasn't bad for the area. Rates were pretty good for the green fees but don't expect a PGA grade here. Fairways were a little grassy and weedy in places but ok. Roughs left a little long. Some hazard placement was interesting and water ran through the course in places. Greens had some bad spots in areas but really seemed to be due to more recent storms beating up the area. Mature hardwood…

Played here this afternoon was not particularly impressed. We had to check 5 different carts to find one in working condition and even the one we had gave us trouble for our round. Greens were in OK condition and the (young) staff were goofing off and not speaking appropriately when we were in the club house. While out on the course, the cart girl cut us off several times by driving in the across the fairway as we teed off which was a bit odd.

Course was in decent shape. Concern was tee time reserved at 2:30pm, confirmed during booking the tee time was for 18 holes, and upon check-in the owner was combative and refused to honor the 18 hole tee time. Instead, owner forced the two-some to only play 9, which ended at 4:15pm. No groups were allowed to make the turn after 4pm. Two-some contained two experienced golfers (one is a HS golf coach). Make sure you clarify your intent to play 18 holes if you book a tee time after 1pm.

Great service, scenery, and prices for a beautiful course. Can’t go wrong with playing a 9 or 18 on any day with family or friends. I do highly recommended calling well in advance, makes everything that much more smooth and easy. Will be golfing here for a while needless to say!

Great court fun to play there,, keeps me coming back. Friendly staff. Kind of wish they had more of a menu, you can get pretty hungry on eighteen holes.

Very nice tough course with well manicured greens. The manager there let us stay and grab a drink after our round was over even though they were closing up. Thanks!

This 18 hole course is located just outside of Marathon City and is a great place to spend an afternoon. The good is challenging with a good mix of par 3s, 4s, and 5s. The Staff is friendly and helpful and the drink carts come around on a regular basis. I held a work outing here with almost 100 participants, and Brad (the events coordinator) handled it like a pro! Keep up the good work PVGC!

The people at the front counter was very disrespectful and rude that because we scheduled a teatime at 2:40 with my party and me, we arrived close to 2:40 and was denied / force cancellation to play golf Apparently, we were late. Even though we showed up close to 2:40. Very unsettling to my experience. Will never play there ever again !!!!!!!

Course is in great shape, well maintianed, can't beat prices for quality of the course. Enough of a challenge for experienced golfers and forgiving enough for beginners. Bar staff was courteous and professional. I will be back several times.

Nice course. Fun to play. Reasonable prices. Back nine is much better than the front. Pace of play was a little slow as there was a group walking and did not have proper etiquette to allow me (single player with cart) to play through.
