In summary

Merrill Golf Club is praised for its well-maintained course, challenging layout, and friendly staff, making it a favorite among local and visiting golfers. The club offers a scenic setting with interesting elevation changes and a relaxed atmosphere. However, some visitors have noted issues with tee time management and slow pace of play, particularly during league events, as well as the absence of a driving range on site.

Overall, more positives than negatives. Cool course, greens in great shape, several nice views and a challenging layout. On the downside...no drinking water on entire course, poor signage near the #6 tee box and course employees not managing player flow well. When checking in was told was a very busy day but allowed two separate twosomes behind us that were on our butts the entire round with no option to let them play through. Disappointing.

I played phenomenally on the front nine, horrendously on the back nine! I want to give a one or two star rating, but that's not their fault, it's mine 😊 This is the second time I've played there in late May, fairways were in good shape, there were quite a few greens that were in really rough shape! Obviously diseased or something is going on. There's no way in late May any course in the Midwest should be anything less than perfect unless it has hundreds of people playing on it every day. Staff was friendly and helpful. Biggest issue, for the time of year that I was there, were the condition of…

Super fun course! We loved being members. Dress code was very relaxed which was awesome! I’m not a fan of polos. The course was pretty well maintained. Unfortunately, there is no drive range on the course. There is one about 5 minutes away though! Putting green was small but worked well!

We had a retirement meeting there. The bartender there went above and beyond to do a fantastic job. Catered food was excellent. Thanks to Park City Credit Union , what a Great community we live in.

This was a fun course that played well. Some holes had some terrain in the fairway and some water hazards in places making for some interesting challenges. The course was cut nice and the greens in pretty good shape. Club house was small but was alright. The only thing I was not a full fan of was a few of the hole positions that made it hard to find the next one as they crisscrossed. But overall, definitely worth a stop to play a round.

Beginners trying out a new course, tee time was at 4:22 and by 4:25 had multiple older gentleman yelling at us to hurry the F up. Tried to let them play through but apparently they scheduled an entire league at the same time as us. Ended up just skipping til hole 6 and played til the 9th. Awful experience

A good value and course is in good condition. Was in town for work and was able to get out no problem. League play in the afternoon tends to be slow, but if you can avoid that, all in all I’d go back (and have)

Tee time management sucked. They started us on 10 and when we made the turn to 1 there were 3 groups on the hole just starting their game. Should have given priority to those making the turn.

This course is my favorite in the Northwoods. Great elevation changes, some very scenic holes and some really fun holes as well. I'm always glad when I can play there.

Played 18 Friday afternoon at 3pm. Price was $21 walking. Course was in beautiful shape. Lots of undulating greens and fairways.
