Riverdale Country Club

Went here for a baby shower, didn't get the opportunity to try anything on the menu today but heard they have a mean fish fry! We'll be back! Nice room for the gathering right next to restrooms. Beautiful surroundings and plenty of parking.

Was there for Friday fish fry. Best NE clam chowder if ever had. Haddock that came with it was really good and plentiful. Great potato salad and sweet potato fries.

There was a large group of us, ordering off the menu. The waitress did a good job and she was alone. Food was brought in a reasonable length of time and was good. While she kept grumbling about it, she did give us individual bills for our meal, which we appreciated.

Nice older course. Always enjoy my rounds there. I had posted earlier that I thought it was a bit pricey. I no longer see it that way, especially when compared to other courses in the area. It is a good value. 9/11/25: Played with a friend there today and the course was in excellent condition. Really enjoyed our round there. Paid around $26 to ride nine holes, which is not bad at all. We will definitely be back!

The golf course was in great shape for October golf. The service in the bar and restaurant was outstanding!

This is one of my favorite local restaurants. Their pizza is absolutely fantastic and probably my favorite in the area. I frequently order carryout from here and have never had a bad experience. The workers are always friendly and the food is great quality. I also highly recommend their wings! They have a ton of sauces to choose from. Overall this is an excellent place for lunch or dinner.

I am not sure how to assign stars since the first Friday Fish Fry we went to was a solid 5, and the very next week it was very, VERY disappointing! If I average it out, it's a 3. But as a math teacher, I know that averages mask the details because it's a 5 and a 2, so I'm going to explain. The first time we arrived after 8 pm and the place was pretty empty. Great food! Great service! I was with a group of 20+. The server handled the orders quickly and correctly. Many of us commented how good the service was. And they split the check! The menu was somewhat limited: burgers, sandwiches, soup, salads, etc., but everything was very good, with good ingredients and well prepared. Those of us who had alcohol liked their drinks.

Friday evening fish fry. We had the shrimp and perch dinner and a bowl of clam chowder. Both were very tasty. Dessert was key lime pie. The entire meal was reasonably priced and excellent. Staff friendly and efficient. Highly recommend. Visit Memorial Day weekend for Friday fish. Very busy but able to accommodate our group of six.

I haven't play golf there in over 20 years. Was awesome to see it was still well taken care of. Price was right.

I have helped run golf tournaments at Riverdale and other venues for 35 years and I can say with certainty that the staff at Riverdale are as good as you will find Anywhere. As busy as they are, their service and hospitality are in my opinion above excellent .
