In summary

The Bull at Pinehurst Farms is highly praised for its exceptional course condition, challenging Jack Nicklaus design, and beautiful setting that incorporates diverse topography and scenic views. The staff is frequently commended for their friendliness and accommodating service, and the clubhouse amenities, including food and practice facilities, are well-received. However, some visitors express concerns about the lack of a walking discount and issues with cart policies, particularly when the course is wet or during late play.

"The Bull" was a great experience even for spring golf. As someone in Chicago, the drive is most definitely worth it. First off, the price point is the best around. If you are golfing up near Sheboygan and don't want to shell out for Whistling this is your choice. Even if you are on your Whistling trip I'd recommend this course. Jack's design is evident on the course and provides great theming in the clubhouse. The Bull was by far in the best shape of any courses I have played around Chicago/Milwaukee. Clubhouse staff was also great and the food at the turn was top tier. With us walking they u…

We played the Sunday of Memorial Day Weekend. The course was in great shape and definitely gave you some challenges from the blue tees. Well groomed greens let the ball roll true. Had a great time.

Spring 2025. Course is still in gteat condition. No leaves yet but the design is still challenging for golfers of all levels. If you haven't played this course yet, give it a try. You won't be disappointed... 😀

After about 5 years since my first and only visit to The Bull, I made my way back for another round today. I remembered loving the course, as I do with most all Nicklaus tracks, but I didn't remember it being this good! Around every bend is an incredible approach to a beautiful setting in the woods or next to the river. Similar to it's neighbors, Black Wolf Run's River and Meadow courses, it compliments the terrain and river in the area with awesome elevations and winding through the woods. Dye and Nicklaus's style is similar and complementary of one another, making The Bull a perfect additi…

Great service in a beautiful setting. Drinks were good and food was very tasty. Particularly enjoyed sitting by the fire. Very cozy during cold wintery nights.

Very nice, yet difficult course. I paid $99 for a weekday which included unlimited range balls and use of the very nice practice facilities, cart and two bottles of water. Donated a fair number of balls here because when you go out of bounds it's for real. Wish I played better (but I always say that!). Hot dog and brat at the turn were quite good and service was excellent. I'd say it was a good value. Check it out for yourself.

Jack knew what he was doing when he designed this course. It’s like a beautiful woman who is complex and will not let you take advantage of her. As this course drove up my score, I was still falling for her captivating beauty. Man, she’s got some tight curves.

The bull at pinehurst farms is so incredibly well maintained & has a very friendly staff. I play this course ~ once a week and it is so challenging and fun. My photo below is of the 12th hole. From the blue tee it can play between 205 and up to about 245 depending on pin.

This is a $300 golf course at a fraction of the cost. My Dad and I golf once a summer at a new course in the state. This course had the best service hands down. With our fee we got unlimited driving range balls and a bottle of water at the start of the round. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The course was immaculate. Greens were fast and consistent. The traps were well kept, and didn't look like a kids sand box (all messy and dirty.)Plus, electric carts...so nice. This course was worth driving to play. We'll be back. Thanks.

The Bull at Pinehurst Farms is an incredible course, but there is no reason to go back if there is no walking discount, especially when the course is wet, and it is cart path only. The Jack Nicklaus design is great. It features wide fairways and undulating greens. Hole 5 is the signature hole.

Yet another great course and only Jack Nicklaus designed in WI!! Great views and a course where you need to play a little target golf to shoot a good score. Hoping to make it back soon for some redemption
