Recent transplant to the area and Buckhead resident. Found this gem when I was searching for a great golf course without the need for the country club vibe (was close to joining CCOS and glad I didn’t) This is the best kept secret in Atlanta.

Great course, great layout, and such an amazing, historic clubhouse with character and class!! I played in a scramble last week, and they ran a first class operation with a fantastic beef tenderloin dinner afterwards. Pace of play was good. We didn't have to wait on one hole(which is unheard of in a scramble nowadays). Also, the GPS and yardages were a very nice bonus! Only negative thing I'll say is please have a cheaper yardage book for one time guest players that take their golf seriously. $60 for a yardage book is pretty crazy.

Fun evening but we lost trivia again. There have been some menu changes that were not so great including my favorite. But otherwise it was fine and the new decor is very attractive it is not a frumpy old dark Club anymore

If you haven't visited Rivermont, you might want to give it a try. Good food, great and fun servers, and wonderful overall, of course! But the best? They provided live music. Mason Wiley, an up and coming gifted musician -- people wanted more songs from him. Take a look and listen!

Amazing food, great people (both staff and members), lots of activities, lots of fun, and we're only social members! Can you imagine if we played golf? It's ranked one of the best golf courses in Georgia! You need to check it out! You don't know what you are missing!

My wife and I had our wedding reception here. Even though the Event Coordinator quit her job while coordinating our wedding, management did not pick up the ball and our reception was greatly disappointing, we made the best of it. Typical golf club mentally - members (Even though some of us were members at the time and a couple still are) get all of the prioritization despite the fact that we paid a large amount of money for our event. The event space in the main clubhouse was very dated and simply not worth the trouble even though the location was exactly where we needed it and other members p…

Good course, however, a number of green contours and slopes are a bit silly, especially at 10 and above on the stimp e.g. greens 2, 6, 8, 12, 13. Don’t be above the hole….anywhere, especially chipping

Nice facility that takes full advantage of their great view while dining. Food was average for the buffet style event that we attended.

As far as best clubs for the price go, Rivermont has you covered on all the bases. Food, Golf, and the best staff around. How could you go wrong?
