In summary

Rolling Hills Golf Club is appreciated for its budget-friendly pricing, friendly and helpful staff, and suitability for beginners, with its forgiving and walkable courses. The club offers a pleasant natural setting and decent food options, though some find the food prices high. However, recurring issues include poorly maintained bunkers and tee boxes, as well as occasional challenges with course layout and navigation.

2026 May 4★ Classic. 18 hole. Par 3 mostly. About $40 after taxes. Walking, no cart. Morning on a beautiful day. Pretty nice greens though certainly not without its flaws of dandelions and the couple of odd weeds. Great for a beginner's course. The water areas are small. The sand areas are pretty much non existent. They do have an area for food. Overall a pleasant experience for a beginner.

I played the Bethesda Grange longer 18 hole course. It’s quite flat and very walkable. It is very open so you can use driver and not be the most accurate. It reminds me of Hidden Lake New Course 18 in Burlington , which is another clublink course. On the front nine, I enjoyed holes 3 and 4. Back nine, I really enjoyed the 12th, 14th and the 18th. See my pictures and videos.

Spent a great time here as a first timer! The staffs are super nice and helpful, easy to find them all around the course. Would recommend here to beginners. We finished 15/18 in 3 30h the first time playing outdoor. hooray;) Food was delicious and affordable. Renting the clubs is 30 and the cart is 35ish. Fun experience, thanks to all the staffs who helped us today.

Great course for the price, conditions are alright on classic and challenge but bethesda is better. Classic course is actually quite challenging while the challenge course is quite forgiving although the course design may be a little dangerous. The pro shop has some great staff in it. This one guy Aiden is outstanding, always super helpful and very nice. He can answer any questions or concerns you have.

Solid course. Very forgiving holes if you tend not to hit straight off the tee box. Mostly par 3’s on the classic course. My top critiques are that there is sometimes not a clear path to the next holes, oftentimes it’s a grass path. Additionally, the food at the 9th hole is good and offers variety however it is pricey. Looking at $17 for a burger without cheese or fries which are extra charges

Overall it is a good course to practice. Staff were very friendly. Murad was very kind. However, bunkers must be fixed, just a total mess and you can't play them at all. Because of the promimity to Bethesda course and classic course, holes 2/18 are just a nightmare for balls coming at your from all directions!!! Had to hide in the cart to avoid getting by other players stray shots More trees are needed to seperate these fairways. Many times play gets held up because player from other fairways are directly in your path.

I played the Rolling Hills Challenge course, and the tee boxes are in terrible condition—rock hard and in horrible shape. I broke more tees trying to put them into the ground than I did with my clubs. The sand traps are ridiculous, essentially compacted dirt. I don't understand why they even bother with sand traps if they aren't maintained; they might as well let them grow out with high grass and make them into traps that way. The greens were in decent condition, and the fairways were okay. I know there are other courses here but I only played this one, so I'm rating it based on the conditions…

Played the Challenge par 70 course on a beautiful Tuesday late afternoon in May of 2018. Easy to get to and not too far from the 404. Pleasant staff in the clubhouse. And the price is hard to beat too. I really enjoy the forgiving nature of the golf holes here - not too long, wide and open. You must cross water on four holes which adds enough of a challenge for most beginners. The signs have been improved this year and the ball washers are better anchored into the ground. Tall grass has been shortened which reduces ball search time. The greens though need to be better watered, while conver…

Playing a lot at Rolling Hills this year, mostly at Challenge and sometimes at Classic. I have always had positive experiences with the staff so far, and I find them friendly and helpful! It is a budget friendly club, compared to some of the more famed Club Link courses. Has been excellent to me as a relative newcomer to the game! While the ground at the tees is a bit hard, it is an excellent course for the value and overall experience ! BTW- if at the bar after the game, try their Fries- they are awesome😀😀

We only believe what we want to believe. We only hear what we want to hear. Especially when we’re obsessed with something... As I drove along the 404 North highway toward the golf course in Stouffville, the sky was losing its blue hue, with thick black clouds gathering overhead. The morning weather forecast had clearly said ‘partly cloudy,’ but to me, it sounded like ‘partly sunny.’ The sun would surely come out, and rain? No way! As I took the exit to Stouffville, raindrops started splattering on the windshield. I quickly glanced up at the sky. Off to the far northeast, there was still a smal…
