In summary

Bloomington Downs Golf Centre is praised for its well-maintained course, accommodating layout for beginners, and comprehensive practice facilities, including a driving range and putting greens. The staff is generally described as friendly and helpful, contributing to a positive golfing experience. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about the high cart fees, occasional slow pace of play, and the presence of geese on the course.

Great practice facility and good course for beginners. They have a driving range, multiple putting greens (in great condition), and a chipping green. Green fees are a bit steep for a beginner course but the course conditions are decent. My only issue is that there are tons of geese living on the course, and they take dumps on the greens and tee boxes (see pic 5)

First time playing Bloomington Downs. Course was in amazing shape and the greens were rolling so nice. Cart girl was around very often on a very hot and humid day. Great warm up area and practice facilities, putting green and chipping are was a bonus. Will definitely play here again. The staff was also very friendly and nice.

Had a great time playing here! Course was in great condition and had some fun holes to play. Practice area looks great as well (driving range and putting greens). Only critic…you’re charging $50 ($25 per rider) for a cart…that’s actually insane!

Good beginner friendly track. Course is in decent condition and price is reasonable. They also offer a nice 9-hole rate if you want to get a round in quickly.

Bloomington Downs Golf Course has a very casual atmosphere. There doesn’t seem to be a dress code, which makes it approachable for new golfers. The course itself is fairly easy, so it’s a good option for beginners or those looking for a relaxed round. There’s also a public driving range available, although I didn’t use it and can’t comment on the ball prices. On the downside, the pro shop staff were not very professional or welcoming, which left a negative impression at the start of the visit. Overall, Bloomington Downs is a decent choice for beginners or casual golfers, but don’t expect a p…

Played Bloomington Downs in September of 2021 and it's the all rounder of GTA courses that I've played. It's reasonably priced, it's got decent carts, the conditioning is fair in the fairways and the greens are good, new blue tee boxes on the front nine add distance punishment for those who enjoy such things, it has mild elevation changes to keep your interest, it has mature trees that pull your ball towards them, it's got decent sand bunkers and enough water features where you can outright donate balls, there are nice putting practise areas and the driving range is huge for a golf course, the…

I’ve played a lot of golf this summer. Probably 50+ rounds. The Marshall here - Barry, is by far the most miserable person I’ve run into on a golf course. Guy must hate his job. On the first few holes, he was essentially following us and felt the need to say something after every hole. “Dont drive here” “Dont drive there” “don’t do this and that”. Finally he left us alone. Then we get to the 9th hole. My group was a full hole ahead of the group behind us. We stopped at the clubhouse to fill our water bottles and he gave us an earful about pace of play. Will never play here again

Course was in great shape. Fairways are forgiving. Lots of room. $63 for a round and a cart. You can't beat that. They have some temporary tee boxes as they are improving the course. Updated yardage signs to the green would be helpful on those holes. Greens are in fantastic shape. Staff are super friendly. Can't wait to come back. Can't remember what hole tbh, but I swear it was like a "Bigfoot" coming out of the forest, I'd never seen such a creature before. Beware the " Pink Forest Bigfoot"!

The golf course is not too long and not too difficult, you can play golf with hands cart. Some courses have small trails that are cute and pretty to look at, so I felt very fresh feeling, and good throughout the course. The ground is not too difficult, so I would recommend it to those who enjoy golf by walking.

This review is solely based on the driving ranges golf balls. I've hit better golf balls that were sitting for years in a water hole. For $20.00 a large bucket with tip, I'd expect golf balls that are in good condition. (At least 50%)4 The range though is beautiful and wide open allow many golfer to practice with space. Just buy some new balls please.

The course is just about right with some holes easy and some difficult. It makes for a fun day on the course and occasionally spotting if deer, fox, turtles, Herons and many birds. Just played yesterday June 3, 2024, the golf carts are new and electric. The driving range, putting green and greens to practice chipping is also provided.

Fairways are spaced out nicely. Great for beginners, although there are quite a few holes with blind shots due to elevation changes.
