In summary

Rose City Golf Course is appreciated for its beautiful and well-maintained grounds, offering a straightforward and enjoyable layout suitable for golfers of all levels. The course is noted for its friendly staff and good amenities, including a popular clubhouse restaurant. While many enjoy the overall experience, some visitors have raised concerns about staff interactions and pricing, as well as occasional issues with pace of play and course conditions during wet weather.

My first 18 hole round was here in the late 80's. The course is still a gem at an affordable price. Greens are a tad slow but in good shape for a mini.

Winter course review! Overall it wasn't terrible. Only a couple fairways were really sloppy and lost plugged balls but the greens were really good! Would give it a 6 out 10. Probably one of the better wet courses in the Portland area

Perfect fall day. Was wet in few places but not enough to ruin a game! Beautiful course in the middle of Portland

The Rose City Grill is a hidden gem inside the clubhouse. Best burgers in the neighborhood. Newly remodeled. Great breakfast joint! Solid diner menu with plenty of beers on tap. Hidden gem for sure. Check it out.

I have enjoyed playing this golf course in tournaments and with my brother who lives close by. It's not fancy or difficult, but has lots of charm. Just a great time, every time! The clubhouse exterior architecture is beautiful and speaks to its past glory. I highly recommend this course for any level of golfer. Hello all, I wanted to share these photos of this city municipal course. There are only a few places where you can truly enjoy the game and enjoy a community spirit as well as service where anyone who likes to play and feel welcomed can play. Many can complain about pace of play but what is rewarding about Rose City is they care about growth of the game as well as the hcp players who frequent their course. Play here and enjoy the game as it is to played by all you may share it with on any given day. I came from Seattle and will make this a track to play as well as others i enjoy.

Had an enjoyable scramble here. Beautiful old course with just enough challenges. Fairways and greens were in GREAT shape for September! Turkey and swiss sandwich at the little restaurant is one of the BEST I've ever had. Everything was fresh and delicious and thick deli cut turkey.

Really enjoyed playing here. Straightforward and no frills course layout made it easy to play as a high handicapper. Very walkable with a few hilly areas.

Worst experience. During the middle of they day, parked right in front near the building, my car was broken into. When staff was asked if there was any cameras of anyone had see anything their response was, "Oh yeah someone reported it about an hour ago. That kind of thing happens all the time here." Will never come back here.

Great course that is part of Ya Golf. Very well maintained with a few water features. The club house is right at the turn and the staff is very friendly. Recommend you try this course if you haven’t before.

We played 18 yesterday with a cart in prime time for $144 for both. Wanted to do an additional 9 after. Thus would have been around 4pm (twilight). They wanted $86 for the additional 9 with car. Something’s not mathing. Called and went to nearby “competitor “. $56…never going back to Rose city…rip off

Good public course in the middle of the city. Three par fives on the back nine give you chances to score. If it's wet, it plays a bit longer than you think. It has good food options in the clubhouse. Unfortunately though, there's no real driving range.
