If I could give this place a negative star I would! Went to play this course for the first time today. Tried to call first, but got no answer. Online says open until 7:00 so my son and I made the drive. When we arrived there were 11 vehicles in the parking lot and every single hole we drove by had multiple golfers on it. Went in the club house asked to play 9 holes and was told the course was closed for maintenance by a very rude young woman. Maintenance on a Friday afternoon? REALLY? Showed up on a Saturday around 1 o’clock to play golf. There was six trucks in the parking lot and was told we couldn’t play due to league play. As I was leaving, I talked to a gentleman in the parking lot who is loading his clubs up to play and I asked him if he was playing in the league and he said he had no idea what I was talking about. Told him I was turned away due to league play and he said no I’m not playing in any league and they had no issues taking my money. Just another example of how terrible this golf course is ran with no ethics and lying to peoples faces for no apparent reason.…

Well, I have never played this course. I have went 3 times and was refused to play every time. I did post a review of my first experience, which was not good. I walked in, he asked my name, and said "that's what I thought. Your not welcome here." Since I had gave them a poor review, he banned me from the course. I play golf everywhere, I'm not saying anything about the course, because I've never played it. Absolute worst run business i have ever seen. The owner Brandon is a complete joke of a person. He will shout insults and try to fight for questioning anything. Avoid this place.

Let me start by saying this course truly is not bad for the price; the greens and fairways are a bit rough, however I am a reasonable man who sees a $38 round of golf in Cowarts, AL for what it is and can accept that and enjoy my time playing. Frankly, I find the course to be in fair condition overall and improved from what I’ve seen in years past. Truly, it pains me to even say it, but unfortunately the 2.6-star average for this course is far too high. Showed up at 7:45 this morning to play a round of golf with friends. Our friend got to the course a few minutes earlier and got a cart. When I went inside to pay, the cashier took my card. Before she swiped it the manager walked up and whispered in her ear and she gave me my card back and told me I was not allowed to play. I have golfed here since 2015 and this is the only time I’ve ever been asked to leave. My friends and I are never coming back here and I recommend the same to everyone else. They do not take tee times and they will tell you to go home for no reason. Terrible management.

I really don’t play a lot of golf because I’m disabled. I use to love going to this course to hit range balls! May me feel alive! I went to the course this past Sunday to do just that. The range is so far from the parking area with my disability there’s no way I can carry my clubs that far. In the past (I will say 3 years ago) they was always so gracious to over a cart! Because it has been a few years I asked about using a cart and was turned down! Then I offer to rent a cart, their response was we don’t aloue our carts to be used for the range. Again I will not come to this course again 3 years in a row and trash is everywhere weeds all over the fairways they don't move there holes on the greens and the flag sticks are rotting in the cups

They only got 1 star because zero is not an option. I have never seen a golf course refuse business like they do. 5 golfers and my 85 year old Dad wants to ride with one of them. Nope. Wouldn’t let him because he didn’t have golf clubs, even when he offered to pay full price just to ride. Today, we had 6 golfers. Two groups of three. Nope not allowed. Told us to leave. DO NOT GO TO THIS COURSE. ABSOLUTLY HORRIBLE.

Would give a zero stars if possible. My best friend and his brother were just turned away due to having long hair. He has been golfing at this course since 2015 and I occasionally would ride in to play with him. Save your money and the possible heartache of being turned away for something even worse like the color of your shirt or your hair being too short.

GOT KICKED OUT FOR LEAVING BAD REVIEW!! So about 4 months ago I went to try and play golf with my wife who was pregnant the time. They refused to let her sit and watch even after I offered to pay for her round. I called and told the manager what I thought and that was that. I go back today and I’m alone. Oh boy, frequent golfers reading this are gonna get a kick out of this one. These people have no idea how to run a golf course. We had seven people meeting up to play, with the intent to split into a 3some and a 4some. Three of us showed up first and, as I was paying, they asked if we had more coming. I said, yea, we have 4 more showing up shortly. They said we could not play because they “don’t split up groups as part of the course policy.” I explained that we weren’t trying to play as a group of 7, that we just all knew each other and were playing as two groups.
