Rum River Hills Golf Club

On May 1st, very playable but some greens are little hard and some fairways with some winter grass burn. Still fun to get out. Lots of water to watch out for--making for some challenging shots. See pics.

Our group really enjoyed the course. Challenging with water and sand hazards, but not terrible. It had enough open areas to play in to avoid them. Only wish they had stakes for distance markers as the flat markets could rarely be seen. Distances were very deceptive playing it for the first time. Great price. Had to wait a long time for food as the lodge has a small kitchen

Decent course. Greens were wet and large puddles of water but nothing too terrible since it recently rained. Bar cart was around twice by the time we finished our round. Bartender made a great bloody. Balls were hard to find with leaves everywhere but those were most likely from the rain/storms that came through a day or two before.

Ridiculously slow pace- almost 5 hours and waiting on every hole. No ranger monitoring- 4 groups on a hole at one time due to poor course management. Multiple sprinkler heads leaking and causing damage. Not worth the $40 to play here

Pro shop was rude. That’s all, course is great. Played in 90 degree heat. Vending machine broken. No beverage cart. bar wasn’t open, Left after 9 holes cause we were dehydrated. Thanks Rum River.

What can I say other than it is a fun golf course. It's spring and the grass is still dormant, but anyone who loves to golf knows what that's like in Minnesota. The layout is just challenging enough to make for some interesting club selections off the T Box.

Pro shop was very disrespectful and doesn’t really know how to handle things with respect and actually caused a lot of stress for me and other golfers with me. Won’t be coming back but golf course is nice so i’ll give it an extra star.

I really enjoyed this course. They have a few holes that were plain, but most of their holes were well designed. Greens were in great shape and were challenging, although they were slower than they appeared to be. Or maybe it was just me. A few of the greens had tons of character and were really fun and challenging. Not many straight puts on this course. We played after a rain storm yesterday and the course was waterlogged in a few places. They could work on the drainage of the fairways a little better, but it was forgivable after the rain storm. Same as always..nice coarse fairways are fair..greens were fast..just plan on playing good golf! Can't say much else.

Found 18 with a cart on GolfNow. Great course for the price. Fun time.
