In summary

Salt Spring Island Golf & Country Club is praised for its well-maintained course, strategic layout, and friendly, accommodating staff, offering a picturesque setting that appeals to both casual and serious golfers. The club also features a driving range, indoor tennis and squash courts, and a restaurant with well-received food options. While the disc golf experience has received mixed feedback due to course design and interactions with ball golfers, the overall atmosphere and amenities contribute to a positive experience for most visitors.

Awesome course with exceptional conditions! Greens are in great shape, suitable for a casual round and also challenging for a more advanced golfer. An island paradise found!

A little different of a review than most. Me and my SO at the time were stranded at this fine golf courses parking lot, trying to figure out how to renew our car insurance. The owner and staff were very kind to us and allowed us to park there for a few hours while we resolved our issue. We ended up using the range and practicing our long game. they were so patient and gentle with our situation. if you are not only looking for a good golf course to play on, but fine people and fantastic customer service as well, then this for sure has to be one of your stops.

The receptionist has to be one of the friendliest guys on the island, gave me tip and made sure I was prepared for the winter round. The course was beautifully maintained save for maybe 1 green. Will come back here

Would not recommend this course for disc golf. You pay to be treated as a second class citizen as a constant stream of ball golfers have the right of way. Strict OB pushes you off to the side and multiple baskets and tee boxes put you directly into the path of golfers. We bailed early after the third ball golfer decided to tell us what to do.

Eclectic mix of artisans, bakers, boutique stores, trendy coffee shops, health stores, and delectable eateries. Not to mention beautiful scenery, nature walks, lakes and wonderful options for dog owners. A fabulous little town with so much to offer. Even in winter!

One must-do on Salt Spring Island (especially for golf lovers): ✅ Play a round at Salt Spring Island Golf & Country Club – A beautifully maintained 9-hole course nestled in the heart of the island’s natural beauty. In May, with the greens in pristine condition and warm, welcoming staff, it's a perfect representation of the island's laid-back charm and scenic appeal. The views, the vibe, and the course itself make it a standout experience. Whether you're a serious golfer or just in it for the good times and views, this course offers something special. Cheers to Island Vibes and great greens!

While the course is in reasonably good shape, some of the tee boxes are not, most notably Hole #5. And most of the ball washers are untended and have no water. 6/10.

Lunch was very good here. Played 9 holes in under 2 hours. Very challenging little course and the course was in good condition. Staff were excellent.

Used the facilities for the driving range, rented the clubs. Facility was clean, staff friendly and the range was good. They were in the process of constructing nice looking Tee boxes.

Lovely course, Carey (might be Kerry) was really helpful and made my girlfriend feel so welcome for her first ever round of golf. We will be playing here every trip to salt spring going forward.

Great people and a stimulating, strategic layout the course offers. Electric golf carts, great views, and greens are well maintained. This place also has an amazing taco place and serves the best ICED COLD beer on the island. The only thing is, the RESTAURANT IS CLOSED ON WEEKENDS, so you have to bring your own refreshments on a weekend shenanigans. Other than that, they also offer rentals of covered squash and tennis courts, which is a bonus!!
