In summary

Sandelie Golf Course is appreciated for its relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, and suitability for golfers of all skill levels. Many enjoy its open fairways and forgiving layout, making it a great option for casual play or practice. However, some visitors have noted issues with course maintenance, such as patchy greens and dry areas, and a few have mentioned challenges in communication and scheduling tee times. Despite these concerns, the course remains a popular choice for its affordability and scenic setting.

Great course! It’s a relaxed vibe with friendly staff. Great place to improve your skills.. open fairways. **there are no bunkers, and only a couple water hazards. Doesn’t bother me that much. Just a heads up for those looking for that in a golf course. Still a great place to play without those! Highly recommend.

What a great place for people of all skill levels to go out and have a great day on the course. There are guys.like me that zig zag from tree line to tree line working my way down the fairway, all the way up to people that golf like professionals. The employees are friendly and they will even rent you a pretty good quality set of clubs for 5.00 if you are just wanting to give golf a try.

Amazing golf course and a family favorite for years. It’s a shame it’s closed down. Also they had Sobe juice in stock at the store and it was so hard to find otherwise. Definitely gonna miss this course.

Great course layout, good for all levels. Very friendly people running the course. It could use a little bit of landscape manicuring in some of the fairways and trees linings. Greens are decent. Overall a good course for the value. I would recommend checking this course out.

This is by far my favorite course as a beginner/intermediate player. It is great for casual play with your friends and the course is pretty forgiving (no crazy hazards). It's also a nice perk that you can bring your own alcohol to the course, but be aware they don't sell any at the clubhouse.

Fine course. Definitely on the less technical side (no sand traps, only a litter bit of water, mostly straight holes) but totally fun and well worth the price. Beautiful setting in West Linn. Get out and play 9!

Great low pressure starter course, no bunkers, wide fairways and hardly any water hazards, but their groundskeeping is terrible. Patchy, mossy greens and I've never seen more crabgrass and clover on a course ever. Really easy to tell where they're irrigating since the drainage is garbage, but the flip side of that is the rough is low, dry, forgiving, and dead by July. That said, it's always cheap ($27 for 18) and usually not crowded. Never spent more than 3.5 hrs playing 18 and hardly ever had to wait to tee off. I loved this course when I was learning how to play, but if you've got a handicap…

Update - they responded rather fast from my review, moved it from 1 to a 3 stars just for that. Will have to try them sometime, but not this weekend. Don't like that they don't have anyone to answer phones during business hours or have a message that tells you anything (they say it's because the weather is bad, but still how do you expect anyone to make weekend golf plans if they aren't available?). If I'm ever able to schedule a tee time maybe my review will change, but that is pending management figuring out how to setup a message machine or how to forward a phone and actually answer it. Wo…

Everything I need from a golf course other than a restaurant. But there are restaurants near enough that it's not a deal breaker. I like inexpensive, uncrowded golf. A couple of the hole had some challenges, some were nice and straight forward. It's close to me, so I'll keep going back.

My sister and I have such fun on this up and down, laid back course! Great practice playing!

If you just want to bang the ball around go to a driving range. The price is far too high for the quality of course. Pace of play was great only because nobody else was out there. They must have already tried once and chose not to return like me.

This is the second time I've been on this course. It's a fun course with challenging 18 holes! The staff was on top of it and very friendly. We'll certainly play there again in the future.
