In summary

Scenic Hills Country Club receives praise for its friendly and helpful staff, inviting atmosphere, and well-maintained indoor facilities, making it a popular choice for events and dining. However, many visitors express concerns about the golf course's poor condition, citing issues with the greens and fairways that detract from the playing experience. While some appreciate the club's amenities and hospitality, others feel the course needs significant improvements before it meets their expectations.

Pros: Employees were very personable and friendly. Gave us directions to navigate the course as this was our first time as we live out of town. Golf carts were comfortable. Pace of play was good for a Sunday, finished in 4 hours. Beverage cart stopped 2 times each side. Cons: No Marshall or starter but with limited persons on the course it was fine for us, though heard others complain making the turn. I do understand there is a drought currently in FL, but the fairways are dead and only 2 of the greens were reasonably good (pictured). The rest of the greens were diseased, covered with sand, i…

I recently coordinated a golf tournament fundraiser at Scenic Hills. The staff were extremely helpful and available for any questions I had during the planning process and on event day. The food was delicious, hot, and ready on time. Their ballroom space was perfect for our after party and prize ceremony. The only drawback of the venue is the condition of the golf course. From an event perspective, however, I have no complaints. I will definitely be working with Scenic Hills for future events.

We were able to enjoy the bar and ordered a couple of items off of the app menu. First off, Katherine was our bartender. Both of us appreciated her vibe. Honestly, golf club bars can sometimes feel stuffy and stilted. Katherine helped us feel a warm, fun and welcoming atmosphere. She was awesome! Our apps were really very good. We'd come back, for sure!

Greens were in absolutely terrible shape, looked like a b-2 bomber made a run through the course greens before my round. Payed $50 for a course that was unplayable and was given zero warning about the greens. Starter was a nice guy though

I had never been to this place before. Called to set up an event for my volunteers. Right from the beginning Jesse was so helpful. I had so many questions he returned my my calls, my emails. Soon as I walked in the building for our luncheon it was so beautiful. His staff had set up things just like I asked. The facility was so elegant so refreshingly beautiful. The service from the banquet room, decorations , to the food, the staff just everything was above what I expected. Even my volunteers loved everything. Thank you so much for your wonderful service. This was our first year we will be bac…

We truly enjoyed our visit to Scenic Hills Country Club. The staff were all very friendly. The clubhouse was clean, the pro shop and cart service were well stocked and the bar staff at the 19th were great. We will definitely return again. We played until we could not see our balls. Remember: Always tip the helpful staff, they are less angry when you return the carts after dark.

Good only if you want to drink and not care about your score. Out of the 7 times I’ve been here over the past three years, they’ve been “aerating” or redoing a greens. I’ve once shot a fake par 3 where the hole was a foot wide in diameter built into the fairway that you chip into while the hole was under construction. I’ve never played this course at its “best” and I don’t think it ever will be at its best. Not worth the money even with reduced prices.

Played here for the first time, and definitely will be a coarse we have in our rotation of playing. Construction is almost completed, and the coarse is looking great. A few rough areas but overall it was a lot of fun to play. My first review had 5 stars, but I felt the need to update it. Its dry, very dry and and needs to be kept up better.

Make reservations somewhere else.... we had a party of 8 people. We were the only 8 people to sit and eat in the entire restaurant. It took 1 full hour before our order was taken and submitted. Most of our food was cold when we received it. The atmosphere was great but we were their to celebrate a birthday and eat. We will not be going back.

Staff was super friendly and nice! Club rentals are awesome but, course is in terrible shape. There's sand in the middle of the fairway. Club house is really nice and upkept. I'm looking forward visiting again most likely in the fall to compare course conditions.

Incredible restaurant!! The food, drinks and the staff at this establishment are a 10 out of 10. After this last hurricane, they’ve repainted everything and are in the process of repairing the landscaping as well as installing a swimming pool. The title Country Club is well-deserved. I don’t golf anymore so I can’t speak to the course itself but other reviews are great. We love this resort and will definitely be back as often as possible.
