In summary

Settlers Crossing Golf Course is often praised for its friendly staff, reasonable pricing, and suitability for beginners and families. However, many visitors express concerns about the course's maintenance, citing issues with the condition of fairways, greens, and cart paths, as well as operational challenges like running sprinklers during play. While some appreciate the course's layout and improvements under new ownership, others feel the quality does not justify the cost compared to nearby alternatives.

If you play in the afternoon or morning, expect sprinklers to be running on the greens and tee boxes (the picture is in hole six at 5:40PM). I asked why they run them while people are playing, they told me that they don’t have the staff to run them after hours and to just take one stroke for a putt. The problem is, I come to play the course and that includes putting. Last year at 10:00AM the sprinklers were running on the tee box of hole one, we couldn’t even tee off. We used to really like this course, however it had really gone down hill and I do not recommend it.

Went today with my wife to play 18 based on seeing the website and seeing the special. When we showed up we were asked if it was our first time here and we said yes it was. The price was 68 for 9 and a cart for both of us. When I inquired about the special, we were :20 early before it started and that was that. Once on the course I was looking for the fairways but never found them, they are non existent. This is like somebody mowed a field into holes. Completely deceptive photography on the website. The greens were aerated and there was no notice or mention of this. I forget which greens but…

Have played here several times over the years. I'll start with the positive. The person who checked us in was amazingly friendly, which is always appreciated. 9 holes with a cart for $30 - not a bad deal. The course. I keep hoping course conditions will improve, but they only seem to have gotten worse over the years. While I understand it can be difficult to maintain a course with no irrigation, there's more than that here. Tee boxes, fairways, and greens are all in rough shape.

Absolutely the worst maintained course I have ever played. The fairway was like the rough, tee boxes were terrible, the greens were more dirt than green. Had dandelion greens growing on the greens!!! I went with my 9 year old son, cost me 72$ for 9 holes for us. The woods of westmister is 36$ each for 18 holes, cart and lunch! This course is an absolute rip off!!! They should be ashamed of themselves and how they operate.

We used to like coming here because the prices resembled the state of the course, prices are increasing now and to play 18 holes with a cart for nearly $60 is too much for the quality. The fairways are in awful condition, the grass is not cut evenly in the main sections. There are rocks everywhere, especially notable on hole 5, making it dangerous to play some of the balls after hitting off the tee box. The cart paths are not good, again on hole 5, can that get paved? It’s extremely dangerous. The greens are not cut even, there are dirt patches, and bumps. You can’t hit the ball without hit…

Pretty fun, small course. Friendly staff. Reasonably priced. Slow, thick fairways Could be cut more often. Cart paths definitely need work.

Great little course. It's not Augusta National, but nor does it claim to be. Nine holes, six of which are par fours (and a seventh you can either play as a 4 or a 5, depending on the tees you're hitting from), and two par threes. Fairways are generously wide, and greens are well-maintained, and can be sneakily tricky depending on the pin placement. The holes are on the shorter side, which can be its own challenge because a good drive can leave you having to take something off a wedge into the green, so bring your short game! The staff in the clubhouse is always friendly and inviting.

Brought my nephew last week and this week. We had a great time. The course was fun and pretty well maintained. The staff were great 👍 I would definitely recommend for beginners and anyone looking to have a nice relaxing time.

Please remove twilight golf hours from your website if you are no longer remaining open for those hours. The last tee time is 5:50

This review is a "current conditions" review. On 8/22/22 I played golf at Settler's Crossing and the conditions of the tee boxes, rough and fairways were poor at best. Everything except the greens was ruts, burnt and dirt. Between the tee box and green was so rough that my bag was tossed almost out of the cart. The greens were in good shape. The attitude of the staff was not good. There was complete disinterest. A "yeah whatever" attitude is not going to bring me back. I also believe that the couple who rushed to get ahead of me on the first tee (and then played slowly) were employees, since I…

Decent course for a quick 9 holes (depending on what time you get there). Prices are reasonable. The greens have been much much better in the past 2 years - they were nearly unplayable in '13! Some upgrades have been made since the new owners took over, including a new elevated tee box on the fifth hole.

Nice 9 hole course. I do not understand why this place isn't packed. It isn't a long course, but it has some challenges. The only negative thing I can think of is the greens were slow. Great little hidden gem
