In summary

Shadow Ridge Golf Club is frequently praised for its beautiful, well-maintained course and friendly, accommodating staff, providing excellent value for golfers of all skill levels. The course layout is noted for being both challenging and enjoyable, with small greens and strategic hazards. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about slow pace of play, crowded tee times, and areas of the course needing maintenance, such as tee boxes and cart paths.

Played a 9 on Saturday. The staff are the true gem of this course. Terry, Garry & Alex we're very kind and welcoming. The course itself was absolutely beautiful. It was a great day for golf. Will definitely come back to do a full 18 when I'm in town again.

Beautiful and well maintained course. We were able to fit in a round here on short notice and the staff were very accommodating. We hope to visit you here again some time!

Shadow Ridge Golf Course is, without a doubt, the best overall course in Kelowna in my opinion. It offers unbeatable value with some of the lowest prices around, yet the course itself is incredibly well-designed, maintained and challenging. The layout is both fun and technical, with rather small greens that really test your accuracy, making it a great challenge for golfers of all skill levels. The fairways are open but the hazards are well-placed, and the course just flows beautifully. Add to that the excellent food at the restaurant and the welcoming atmosphere, and you’ve got a spot that’s h…

Played this course many times over the years. It’s a seemingly short course but plays much harder due to how tight it is. Currently in the best shape I’ve seen, been golfing 35 years, greens are outstanding. Easy to play this course in 4 hours, marshals are friendly and great despite previous childish reviews. Best value not only in Kelowna but the Okanagan. Not a perfect course but very enjoyable and reasonably priced and friendly people. In better shape in 2025 than last year wow!

It’s really unfortunate that for a nice course that has a handful of long holes and pretty alright greens that they would charge close to $90 for a full 18 just for you to sit behind 3 groups waiting to tee off on the same hole. We got to hole 5 after already having to wait behind a group at each tee box and there was a group on the putting green, a group on the fairway, a group waiting to tee off, another group behind them waiting to even step on the tee box, and us behind them. 5 seperate groups on one hole is absolutely ridiculous and completely unjustifiable. Absolutely nothing can be done…

Wonderful first experience here! The gentleman in the pro shop was so friendly to deal with, the course plays nicely and fairly! Gotta get those members to fix more ball marks and take some pride in their track, I fixed 2-5 on every green. Will definitely visit again!

The staff at the course are amazing and very kind, the view is beautiful, it is well priced, and I would highly recommend this course. We came from Calgary and wanted to play a fun round while we were in town, we had 3 sets of golf clubs stuffed into one bag for travel purposes and the very helpful people at the pro shop offered us a bag to borrow for the round which was a very kind and helpful gesture.Thank you shadow ridge!

Love that they allow us to keep playing the course late in the season. Only reason for 4 stars is the one younger guy in the pro shop seems PO'd 90% of the time, why work in a pro shop if you're choked when people check-in? Always the same guy too, everyone else is lovely though!!

2025...(edited)... Still a nice park setting but still crappy tee boxes and many talk of this I did find leading up to playing yesterday and even my good friend B who got frustrated with the conditions and he stopped going to here. SO DRY too! A deadly over dry dead tree that needs to be chopped! SO SLOW in play and which took close to 3 hrs on the back and 2 hrs 15 for the front to be done! Marshall out and about but not moving the flow! I scored well though (80) and even though frustrated in the super slow! Bev cart GUY was so nice! He got the 5 stars. 2.5 overall. (Aug 31/25). Previous…

Shadow is a great walking/cart coarse. Challenging and with the new changes to many holes it is just getting better. Great pricing and excellent staff

I give 4 stars for the effort they make in managing the high water from recent flooding in 2020. Now the course is well trimmed and unnecessary hedges are removed etc. In 2023. $90 for 18 holes and cart. PGK cards help reduce prices when preparing $1000 etc.

Not a bad course! Confused on why I got treated poorly over the phone from the proshop staff… was simply looking for a tee time for 7 guys but apparently I called the wrong course.
