In summary

Shannon Lake Golf Course is frequently praised for its beautiful setting, well-maintained grounds, and friendly staff. Golfers appreciate the diverse layout, scenic views, and amenities such as the clubhouse and restaurant. However, some visitors have noted issues with the pace of play, particularly during busy times or tournaments, and occasional dissatisfaction with course conditions like aerated greens or construction.

Great local course local on the infamous Shannon lake itself. It's been a few years since I've child here but they have kept it very well maintained. It's a course for mid handicap which is what I am, so it's perfect . Some elevation holes as it wraps around the community and back under the road to the lake side. Well done I'll be back 🤙

First time golfing there. Its a beautiful course, everything is in great shape. It's a busy place but everything was running smoothly. Even wildlife on the fairway.

Liked the course, crazy expensive but that's life. Worst part the Marshall harrassing us to go faster 3 times yet we never saw a soul behind us all day. Get a life pal. 4 hr round foursome

I made reservations to have a local celebration for my son and daughter-in-law. The food was fantastic, highly recommended, the venue and view was spectacular. The service was exceptional. I was so glad to choose this option, as I usually cater myself to family and friend gatherings. I would definitely recommend going to Shannon Lake Golf course so you can relax and enjoy your family and friends instead. Thank you to the staff at SLGC

My childhood course in the neighborhood I grew up. Therefore, I have a bias. That being said, this is a beautiful course and there are views all around. The afternoon front 9 truly features the Lake, whereas the morning back 9 highlights more the mountains and wooded areas. Personally, I prefer the front 9 and definitely recommend doing that if it's your first visit and don't have time for the full 18. The course is walkable if you're fit and don't mind trekking up some step hills. But I'd get a power cart if you want to save your energy for your drives.

Beautiful course but was rushed. Went for the back nine and breakfast special. My son and I are from out of town and wanted to get a relaxing morning of golf in. We were a party of 4 and not taking that long. The course had a tournament going on that day so I understand pace of play but then maybe don't run the back nine breakfast special during tournaments. Food and restaurant staff was great. Will be choosing a different course next time. Something more laid back. We were unaware you had to be such a fast golfer to play here. How are beginners supposed to improve?

Did the back 9 and dine. Lovely course, hilly on the back with great views. Awesome dinner with cheerful, helpful staff and excellent, timely and attentive service.

I left a review about 3 years ago that compliments the course and staff but was less positive regarding the restaurant. I now need to amend that. The course is in fantastic shape, all staff, including the restaurant, are friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant is really good value for the money and the new restaurant manager and chef are doing a great job. Two thumbs up!

Had a buddy who was having a hard time walking the course due to some health reasons, and they drove a cart out to us and let him use it free of charge for the remainder of the round. Course was beautiful and well kept and we really had an awesome round. So thankful for how helpful the staff were with the situation. Really saved the day.

Little bit out of the way , but a nice course overall if..... You get used to the odd course layout and fact that feels like 30% of the time the greens are either so full of sand you should be at beach or just got airated. Wish they would warn on their website or provide a discount when such activities are taking place.
