In summary

Silo Run Golf Course receives high praise for its well-maintained greens, scenic layout, and friendly staff, offering excellent value for money. The course's unique design and beautiful views are appreciated by both novice and experienced golfers. However, some visitors mention challenges with the pace of play and the lack of clear hole maps, which can be difficult for first-time players.

Heading back to Ohio from visiting family south of Charlotte and found this gem! Course has a ton of character, extremely friendly staff and exceptional prices! $25 for 18 & a cart on new years day! I would be fine paying $39 if it includes a free hot dog 😁

Course is a little off the beaten path, but a good layout with greens that are receptive, cart paths are smoother than other courses in the area. A couple of holes are more than just a little interesting. Tee times can be challenging on weekends, but the rates are good and the staff are friendly.

I played 18 holes here with my brother and uncle. The course was well maintained and a lot of fun to play. The staff was great. One down side is they didn’t have any clubs for rent or a clear map of the holes. For the first time playing it was challenging to know the course. Overall I’d highly recommend this course anytime.

Nice foothills course, especially like the challenge of back nine. Greens quick and held shots nicely. Only complaint was called ahead and asked if I needed a tee time, was told no just show up - course shouldn’t be crowded at 1:30 in the afternoon. Showed up then and all carts were out and had to wait 25-30 minutes to tee off and wasn’t able to finish round because of darkness. Would have made a tee time that would have allowed us to finish! Good course for the $$ but always very busy from my experiences.

Great course for the money. Challenging with elevation changes. Pilot Mountain off in the distance.

I absolutely love this course. It is underpriced for the quality. Greens are in great shape, It is not for the weak... longer than your normal municipal.

Fun course! It is wide open. Greens are 98% complete. Had a small bare spot on 3 of the greens. No bigger than a 4x6 inch bare spot mostly near an edge of the green. Looks like the greens were punched 2 or 3 weeks ago. Other than those three spots and the greens showing punch marks, the course is in perfect shape/condition!! Will be going back often! Great driving range, chipping area, and putting area. Going to look into getting a membership, good course/experience!!!

Played here for the first time yesterday with my buddy. Never played here before. Excellent value. Lots of slope but fairways and greens were excellent. Played on a Friday but not a lot of traffic and not crowded. It's a hidden gem IMHO and we will be back.
