In summary

Yadkin Country Club is appreciated for its challenging layout, beautiful setting, and well-maintained greens, offering an affordable and laid-back golfing experience. However, many visitors express concerns about the poor condition of the cart paths, fairways, and bunkers, as well as inconsistent service and management. Despite these issues, the course's low rates and potential for improvement make it a viable option for casual play.

How is this course still open? The online open time states 8am every day, but no one shows up till 9:30 if your lucky. Just left waiting an hour with multiple golfers filling the lot. Do better!

Place is cheap enough but the course is pretty rough. They don't make you feel very welcome unless you are a regular. They don't want your business. Its best to play somewhere else. Silo Run is in Yadkin County and it is WAY better.

Don't waste your time or money. I needed a tee time quick and YCC was the only place that had availability - not surprising. The condition of the cart path is actually hard to believe. It is non-existent on a number of holes. Its unfortunate. They had new ownership a number of years ago and I was hoping it would bring about significant upgrades. I decided to take a chance on it a few weeks ago and it proved to be a risk not worth taking.

Cart paths are in bad need of repair, many areas are washed out leaving nothing but red clay holes throughout the entire course, zero sand in bunkets just red clay, and greens are in good shape.

Worst experience of a golf course I’ve had, we booked a T time for 6 people, we showed up and they told us we had to play 2 groups of 3, which we complied too. Only to get accused that we were grouped up at the 5th hole and the people behind us teed off and tried to hit us with their balls. Lady at the counter was completely rude and will not be back. The cart path is awful and it was like this on every fairway.

Course is ok with some bare spots in the fairways. It’s been dry so maybe they need a little water to help. Greens roll good and lay out can be tough if you don’t place your tee ball in tight positions. Cash only so be prepared.

I was a little wary reading reviews but after playing it I will say I was impressed. Cart paths are rough and bunkers are rough. Fairways are better than normal for the price and greens were better than any I've seen in same price range. Also it's almost December so summer it's been even better. With a little love this course could be really sweet. Will play again

Greens are in excellent shape. Fairways were as well. Tee boxes well maintained. The course layout is awesome. Most holes put a premium on ball control as fairways are tree lined. Beautiful setting. Challenging layout, Cart paths are bad. Really bad. If the cart paths were repaired and some attention paid to the bunkers this course would be one of the better ones in the area. Great rates make those couple things worth overlooking though.

Greens and fairways are in good shape. It is somewhat surprising since it has been so hot and dry recently. I had not played the course in over 5 years so the improvement of the fairways was a pleasant surprise. I know they are aware but the cart paths, well that is what it is. Good price and a fun layout. With sand in the bunkers and some cart paths this would be an outstanding course for the area.

Really wish the owners (not the people leasing/running) would sell and quit sitting on this course when they’re not putting any time, money, love or anything into this place. It is my understanding that there’s been more than fair offers made to buy them out but they’re too greedy to sell to someone who actually cares and wants the best for this property. It’s a shame it’s closed once again all because of greedy owners. This course and community both deserves better!

The young lady that met us was so nice and very helpful. My wife and and I wanted to play nine holes on a Friday afternoon. The rate was incredibly low. It was not crowded. The greens were very good, they are working on improving the fairways. Everyone was laid back and relaxed

Greens are in decent shape. Great course layout. Fairways and cart paths need lots of work. Affordable place to play and walking the front 9 is fairly easy. With some TLC I hope this place begins to look better and better in the near future.
