I really like the course. These 18 holes are well manicured and the greens roll really true. Regretfully right now you need a blower because its the beginning of fall. Be aware its a great place to overhaul your ball collection because 14 of 18 holes have either water or marsh. Plus their rough is deep and thick. But its still a doable course. I lost 9 balls the first time I played the course and 1 last time. Regardless its a fun course. Be careful on 7 and 10 if you ask me though

Fell in love with this place. I played here a few days after an event at the beginning of October and the place was spectacular. Greens very receptive but smooth and fast. Rough was thick and definitely where you don't want to be. I already have a tee time to go back I loved it that much. Plus this is an Arnold Palmer course and he's from my home state.

One of my favorite golf courses to play on since moving to Winston-Salem. We have family who live in Oak Valley so it's pleasantly convenient for us to come here when we visit them. The course offers a variety of layouts to play from that keep things interesting and it's always well-kept.

Today my playing partner and I were on the 8th hole when an elderly man who claims to be an employee of the course collided into our parked cart and proceeded to curse at my friend and I. His issue was that we had been on the fairways in the cart, which is completely understandable as I had mistakenly taken the cart onto the fairways despite the rule. However, the manner in which this person decided to address the situation, rather than saying something decided to put everyone’s health in danger as well as potentially damaging the carts themselves. That kind of erratic behavior is concerning a…

What an awesome course. Not just to play on, but to set up as a vendor was great too. The staff are amazing. They go out of their way to ensure your event is a success. The carts were all charged, spotless, and parked ready to go well ahead of the event. The grounds are meticulously maintained, not just the fairways, the rough and beyond are kept prim and proper as well. We couldn't have asked for a better event, definitely looking forward to coming back!

Well maintained golf course, friendly staff, natural habitat for wild birds like herons. This course just keeps getting better.

Excellent condition! Fairways are plush, tee boxes are in great shape, and greens running about 12-13. I would highly recommend this course. Challenging and fun!

I understand public golf courses are trying to make money but tee times that are 7 minutes apart are unacceptable. My foursome was early for our tee time but we weren’t able to tee off until 15 minutes after our tee time. There were three groups on every hole and we had to wait to hit every shot. It took my group over 3 hours to play 9 holes. At the turn, there were 3 groups waiting to tee off on the back 9, so we cut our losses and didn’t even attempt to play the back 9. This is absurd. I love the course but it’s ridiculous that it has come to this. I do not recommend playing out here until t…

Had a great time, it was a little backed up, but still an amazing course. Buddy of mine almost got an ace! Palmer made a good layout.
