Played here with my dad when he visited me. Was a great course beautiful and somewhat challenging. Carts and technology were great. Only issue was the pace of play was extremely slow. Seems like there wasnt a ranger out on the course enforcing pace of place but the day we played it was needed

Salem Glen is a beautiful course that’s always in excellent shape. The layout is fun, challenging, and very well maintained. I visited with the CW Golf Group, and we were blown away by the experience. The staff is amazing—welcoming, professional, and extremely accommodating. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Overall, this is one of the best golf experiences we’ve had, and I can’t recommend it enough. We’ll definitely be back!

We have lived at Salem Glen for 13 years and have loved living there from day 1. We have had multiple owners during that time, all of whom made incremental improvements to the course and amenities. When Tyler and Melissa purchased SG, they went all in at high speed to bring Salem Glen back to the vision the original designers had and beyond. In just two years they have made amazing improvements to the course: - All bunkers were completely gutted and equipped with advanced drainage systems. - Trees were taking out to make the course more user friendly and improve the look. The view of the riv…

Course was great, even after all the cold and rain. Staff was friendly and pace of play was very good. Was taken aback when they asked for a tip when checking out at the pro shop...can't say I've seen this before.

Sweet layout. I like the track. Greens are kind of embarassing honestly. I have played golf all over the country and this course had the most ball marks on the greens I have ever seen/played. Considering it’s mostly members playing it, yall should be ashamed of yourselves. I probably fixed 100 marks today. Only 2,000 more to go. FYI all the 5-star reviews are because they offer a free beer at the bar for posting a 5 star review while standing there. For that, you get one less star.

After years of teeing it up at Salem Glen (and another round this past Saturday), I’m happy to report this course has truly hit its stride. The management has refined things beautifully.

This course and the staff were a 5 star experience for sure. There wasn’t a thing wrong with the course. Best public course in the Winston Salem area. From the pro shop staff being very welcoming to Kerri in the pub being so nice and helpful make this course top notch. Don’t pass up on the chance to play this GEM.

Was a “member” here for a year during my wife’s residency. Awesome staff, underrated grill, solid facility, the greens and bunkers were getting re-done but are looking much better now. I had great times here and for the cost it’s a wildly great value. Thanks again, Salem Glen for some great memories. Look for the heron nests to the right after the 5th tee box!

Salem Glen Golf and Country Club is a true gem! 💎 The golf course itself is stunning, offering a blend of challenging holes and beautiful scenery. The Nicklaus Design really shines through, with elevation changes, creeks, and lakes making every shot interesting. Conditions are consistently top-notch, with fast/true greens that make putting a delight. ⛳ The driving range is excellent too! It's spacious, well-maintained, and provides a perfect spot to warm up or work on your swing. The quality of the range balls is surprisingly good, which is a huge plus. But what sets Salem Glen apart is the s…

First time playing Salem Glen course was in good shape, slick greens which I like and deep rough which I didn't 😂. Little work being done on the course when we played and had to maneuver around the workers but all in all a great experience. Definitely will be back

Fantastic course! The fairways are beautifully maintained, the rough is in excellent shape, and the greens roll true and consistently. The clubhouse staff are welcoming and professional, making the overall experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back!

The course is in very nice shape. Greens are bent grass so they roll a little slower than bermuda but that is the norm when you are trying to keep them healthy. Highly recommended.
