This little 9 hole course is a lot of fun. Being on the side of a valley, it has the expected ups and downs. Only 2 water hazards and they are very tiny. Lots of bunkers for those who like the beach. I highly recommend checking it out

June 2021 update. Course is still awesome. Well worth the trip from the city for us. Pros: fees are great. Low prices. Course is fun, good layouts, especially the par 4s... Most are doglegs. Food sold also was great. Couldn't try it all, but what we had was fresh and very handmade. Cons: might be running short of ground crew. Noticed overflowing garbage can on 6th tee. And tee decks are really littered with broken tees, and the tee cup is partially filled with broken tees. More than I've ever seen in a tee cup anyways. Obviously the guy that's cutting them isn't expected to pick clean and di…

My husband has been wanting to take me to Smoky Lake for a couple years, as he’s played it and loved it. I phoned the course to book a tee time the night before we wanted to play and there was no mention of any issues with the course. We drove 135 KMs to the course and arrived to find out they punched and sanded the greens that morning, and as we were playing we had to wait while a truck sanded greens. Had we been told that was the case we would have postponed going for a week or so. Yes we were given a small discount on green fees but it certainly didn’t cover our gas or inconvenience. Plus w…

its a really nice course, but be prepared to get hit up on by a lots of local members rushing through thier rounds with no marshals and zero tee time management. This all happened on a random Tuesday afternoon, I can only imagine what a nightmare Friday afternoons are.

Used to be a friendly place for anyone. Was pushed and pushed by the Marshall. 2.0 hours in and starting on 7th hole and we had to quit... The Marshall was already telling us what ball to play. Sad ,at it's a nice course just have to be a semi pro I guess to play there.. never experienced so much pressure when trying to play. The manager was totally unbelievable. Said if you can't finish in Less than 2 hours you should not be there..... Worst experience on a public course in 30 years. As a Senior, and not a great golfer but still a paying customer. I guess when your the manager you can shame a…

Great small town golf course! Wonderful shape, great staff! They actual ask players, and follow through, with keeping pace of play to reasonable 4 hours! Finally! Nobody wants to spend 5+ hours on a golf course.

Fantastic little course. Some of the nicest greens I have played all summer. Staff was friendly and pricing is good, even the food and drink inside was reasonable. The place is nothing fancy and the carts are pretty old but it was worth the drive from Edmonton. I enjoy trying to beat my score the second time around when playing 18 holes.

Beautiful scenery on all fairways and also forgiving . Don't underestimate this town's Golf course it's a GEM. This is a must play course for all levels of golfers.
