In summary

Elk Island Golf Course is appreciated for its well-maintained greens and fairways, and the variety offered by its three nine-hole layouts, making it appealing to golfers of all skill levels. The staff is generally described as friendly and helpful, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. However, some visitors have noted issues such as slow pace of play, outdated amenities, and occasional maintenance concerns with carts and sand traps.

Updated: 05-June-2020 Buck/Clark Courses The course is in the best condition I have ever seen it in. The tee boxes were good with minimal winter damage. The fairways were well maintained, lush, very little winter damage and only a few soggy spots. The greens were the best we have seen so far this season with only a few greens with winter damage, but even these ones were puttable. They were quick and well maintained. I recommend you get out and play here if you have not been there for a while. It is still a pretty easy course and hacker-friendly but the conditioning is superb this year.

This was my first time playing at Fort In View. I was in Edmonton visiting my son and his girlfriend, both of who are avid golfers like myself. They had recently signed up for Fort’s Play More deal which gives them discounted green fees so we went out for a round. This is a fun course with 3 different nines that are used in different rotation so it’s potentially like playing 3 different course on any given day. The staff at the pro shop are very friendly and the food services were decent. This is a quaint little course that offers a good value. It’s quite open and forgiving which makes it gre…

Course is extremely expensive with a very lackluster driving green and no putting green our carts were in rough condition with flat tires and holes in their seats when we went in to get food at the turn around 12 prime lunch time and they had no food ready and once we finally got our hotdogs after 45 minutes I received a wet bun and when we went to get ketchup it was empty

This is one of Edmonton's hidden golf gems - fantastic pricing, 27 holes of golf (3 nines) and conveniently located just north of Edmonton. This is such a fun course to play!!

Good course and it’s 27 holes so as long as they don’t overbook it’s a nice experience

Was rushed and told to hurry up by the marshal on the first hole. Way over priced. Zero service after paying. Boring view. Dogs running around.

If you buy the play more save more card this course becomes easily probably the best option to play as a regular golf hobbyist that can’t afford a membership in the Edmonton area. It is a great deal and I hope to see it never leave. The 3 different 9s gives you some variety between weeks that you play and there’s a good mix of water and some fun par 3s. Some negatives: the sand traps are mostly rock hard with no new sand in the bunkers. It Is like hitting your ball off the cart path. As annoying as it is to hit it into the bunkers, it is fun to try to get out but the state of most of the bunk…

I haven't golf here in about 20 years, we did about 30 rounds this year because of the excellent conditions. Staff are awesome and food is good. Have our pass for next year and can't wait to get back out. Thank you to the staff for making it a great golf season 2024.

Went here several weeks ago . Course was well kept, and they have 27 holes so you could play a few different ways. Not a super fancy course - gravel parking lot, modest pro shop and clubhouse. Value is good though, and even better if you get one if their multipasses. It's also quiet because of its location. Staff were friendly and helpful. Try it out!

Overpriced. 95 for a round here is a joke. Also, getting asked for a tip at the pro shop for the round was brutal. Maybe put some gravel down on the cart paths. Was more like off roading than golfing.
