South Hills Golf & Country Club

My husband and I attended the Young at Heart event here in May. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our dinner was delicious and drinks were great.

We were here for an alumni work outing. The course was beautiful. The outing was well organized, and the staff very friendly. The dinner at the end was delicious!

The place is beautiful, but don’t let that fool you. They are so unorganized and unprofessional when it comes to the main events. They had made changes last minute for the wedding and claimed they never said certain things that were made for the event. For the rehearsal, the coordinator Rebecca was shuttled back to her car prior to the end of the rehearsal and final payment. On the day of, the pro shop person claimed that the groomsmen sprayed beer all over the locker room they were in. We attended a wedding here on 10-9-2021. The staff was amazing! They were right there if we needed something. The first place I have gone to in a long time where they were not short staffed (or at least they didn't look like it) and I didn't want to jump behind the bar to help bartend. They all hustled and were very professional. Would highly recommend!

We attended a wedding here this past weekend. The venue is nice and well kept. The staff was polite and attentive, but it may have been the worst wedding meal I've had. The meal was buffet style set up in bar room. They had chicken breat, beef tips, mashed potatoes, rice, and green beans I believe. I didn't grab any chicken, but I heard and saw horror stories. Over 30 guests were served chicken that was raw in center. I choose beef tips over rice. The rice was still crunchy and cold. The best thing on buffet was the mashed potatoes. Setting was beautiful. Great staff and servers waiting all guest were so polite and service was perfect. Food was delicious. A fantastic setting for a wedding or reception.

My company has hosted many events at South Hills Country Club over the last 30 years. We have always received fantastic service and the overall experience was a 10! I highly recommend this venue for your next wedding or special event!

Very nice golf course with some beautiful holes. Greens are small and hard to hit. Greens speed was good. Could use some more par 5's and par 3's to give better mix. Club house is Beautiful and playing conditions were excellent. A few blind tee shots. Creek comes into play on about 5 holes. Hilly and walking could be difficult on about 6-8 holes.

Went here yesterday evening for a Christmas party. Food was good and well served. Bar keepers for friendly courteous and attempted to their job. It is a very beautiful venue and unique a real touch of class.

We had a Wedding there in April of 2012 and it was the best. All our guest completely loved the setting, great bartenders and staff. Thank you to all who were a part of it. JOHN

Love South Hills! We had our wedding and reception at South Hills. We wouldn’t have wanted it anywhere else. We had a beautiful venue and great food!
